Le Sidiani — Restaurant in Bayeux

We had to return the fish because it wasn't cooked properly, it came back inedible - sizzled. The sauce was ice cold, so it too was microwaved..The cook did apologise but only after the dish was returned to the kitchen twice. We didn't have to pay for the fish, but overall the quality and quantity of the food was very disappointing and definitely not recommendable. The other food served to the party was mediocre to be kind. Toilet paper was not provided, even though the WC room was also used as a storage area for other items, there was no sign of toilet paper in stock. The proprietor should recognise constructive criticism as a means to improve the quality of his business, then a good business man don't undermine...

UNDISCOVERED GEM! We passed this venue a few times over a couple days and agreed we should stop in for a meal before leaving town. Georgian cooking! (No, not the State in the USA) We are so glad we did! The service was comfortably attentive, they both spoke and understood English (which was a help). The menu was in French & English. The pricing competitive. In Sept '23 a main plate is E14, E16 for appetizer or dessert and main, all 3 was E19...THE FOOD...

First class food, the best and tastiest meal I have ever had. Staff were friendly and had no problem doing takeaway/emporter, and had an english menu. Simple food elevated with a unique blend of spices (but not spicy). Vegetarian dish, beef kebab, chicken(stuffed with fig) all absolutely delicious. No extra seasoning required! Wish we could get this in Ireland,luckily we have a few days left in Bayeux and Le Sidiani is open every day☺️...
