Wonderful spot! Hidden gem…we mozied by here the other evening and saw someone served a wonderfully delicious looking personal pizza. We stopped and watched the kitchen where a chef was making a ‘French calzone’ (best I could tell)…so, we gave it a try tonight. The service was immediate, friendly and helpful. The prices quite good (3.50E for a class of Chianti) and the pizza- excellent. Light and all fresh- My husband’s had anchovies, capers, artichoke hearts and mozzarella on a tomato base while mine offered rocket, goat cheese, fresh pesto, peppers and mozzarella on a tomato base. We visited on a busy Saturday night, and the restaurant was almost full when we sat down. We waited to order both drinks and food for about 30 minutes; instead of a friendly apology or even a neutral excuse, we were met with "everyone has to wait their turn" in a rude tone, as if our custom were some sort of inconvenience to the staff.
