Café Ttipia — Restaurant in Bayonne

The staff has been really rude from the beginning. It felt like we were disturbing them. If you do not like tourists or pilgrims and you do speak only french giving french menus and answers in french why do you work in a turistic place? We ordered something and then the waiter was looking at us like disgusted by this mistake. A mistake that was his mistake because he even had the interested on us while we were ordering. Swear on us in the back is unacceptable, with other collegue pretending that we couldn't understand even more. Be kind with who is kind with you. Do not be posh, fancy or rude with costumers who...

We were seated outside which was fine as it was away from the busy road. The server was very inattentive to our table of three women but attentive to those with men. She eventually came and took our order. We all ordered the special which was burgers, fries and salad. When they finally arrived my burger was cooked to about medium which I could eat. My table mate’s burgers were totally raw in spots. The sent them back to be cooked more. I finished my burger before they got theirs back and they were still undercooked. I will definitely not recommend this...

Pourquoi 1 étoile? On mange bien mais on a réservé pour 6 ils nous donne que un table pour 4 , a nous de se débrouiller! Service robotic. Ils sont fichés de gens non locaux. I have to say the food is good but service was cold and unwelcoming we reserved for 6 they gave us a table for 4 and up to us to manage! Victimes of success they obviously only just tolerate non locals avoid if you can. I have been coming here to work as a volunteer on the Camino and have put up with their horrible welcome for years but never ever again. Shame...
