The best burgers in the world coupled with the best fast service and impeccable hygiene. The fries are home made and are crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside. The burgers… well those burgers just melt in your mouth. I’ve travelled a lot around the US and the world and this small burger joint in Biarritz beats them all. Nelly’s, I salute you. Chapeau.

Amazing burger! Perfectly thin and crispy meat, and the sauces were spot on classics: ketchup and mustard, which in my opinion is the absolute best way to enjoy a burger. It beat every burger I had on my recent trip to New York. Unfortunately I tried it on the last night of my holiday, if I’d tried it earlier, I would have eaten here every single day.

Bonjour 😊 On était vraiment tristes quand Nelly’s Anglet a fermé, car pour nous c’étaient les meilleurs burgers smashed – enfin des burgers sans viande épaisse ni rouge, exactement comme on aime. Quelle joie de retrouver Nelly’s à Biarritz un samedi soir ! Très bon accueil pour la vente à emporter, malgré le monde : servis en à peine 10 minutes. Et le burger… fabuleux ! Un burger avec le pain qui est léger et digeste, les ingrédients sont de qualité, bien généreusement garnis de sauce et de cornichons délicieux. La viande est smashed comme il faut, grillée juste ce qu’il faut, ni trop rouge ni trop cuite, et surtout pas épaisse, donc jamais écœurante (même pour ceux qui n’aiment pas la viande rouge comme nous). En plus, la viande est découpée sur place, ce qui se sent vraiment au goût. Le burger un délice. Les frites maison sont également excellentes, croustillantes avec une petite sauce tellement bonne… qu’on en voudrait encore plus ! Pour nous, ce sont les meilleurs burgers, tout simplement. On reviendra 👍

Three different local residents told me these are the best burgers in Biarritz, and now I’m telling you. These are the best burgers in Biarritz, and the crinkle-cut fries are outstanding as well.

The guys behind the counter are cheerful and extremely efficient, and the prices are perfectly reasonable.

There is nothing else here. No tables (Nelly’s is carry out only) and no other menu items. Just burgers and fries. That kind of focus probably explains the quality.

Go there today and enjoy. Then tell someone else and...

We didn’t have this place on our list but were drawn in by the 25ish people queuing outside. Glad we waited because this was probably the best smash burger in Biarritz. Probably in France? If you too want to be haunted in your dreams by a crispy cheesy goodness, head over there. It’s worth the wait (which was surprisingly not that long if you take in consideration how many people were there)....

I’ve lived in Biarritz since 2015 and Nelly’s is the original smash burger in the area. Not only is it the original that other places try to copy, it is the best. You will not be disappointed and if you are from California, it is even better than an In n’ Out burger. 🍔 My only request is that they bring back the delicious milkshakes they had when they first started...
