Le Bistrot — Restaurant in Besançon

At first we tried the place because they did veggie and fish options, but the service was genuinely the best I ever had in my life. The place is immaculate, the food is homely and tasty, but the service is remarkable. I've taken my toddler to Boulangeries in the city for lunch before, one, Fabuleuse something, literally asked how quickly we could eat and leave (he had no reserved tables just didn't want is there). Lots of others make it super awkward about having a pram even if there's space, basically always feeling unwelcome. Le Bistro was so welcoming to my child, held his hand, played with him, even gave him Christmas chocolate, that the little one ate well, played, just had an amazing time because he was so happy. It was just totally beyond. The value for money is also great, we will be back there...

Amazing find in the centre of Besançon for a delicious lunch! Possibly the best real potato chips I’ve ever eaten, mouthwatering Reblochon burger, lovely (and huge!) salads and a good kids’ menu too. The staff could not have been friendlier and more accommodating, putting up with our stilted french and nothing was too much trouble. Nice shaded seating area outside. Would definitely recommend and hope to return to explore more of the menu, and of this...

😡😡😡Sérieusement ? 4,7 en note ? 13.50 la salade de chèvre chaud, pour du chèvre industriel à 1.50 au supermarché et du pain de Intermarché même pas en toasts... De la salade même pas fraîche mais venant de sachet. Pour mon copain, faux filet décongeler, probablement acheté en barquette et non au bouché. En dessert pour moi gaufres au chocolat, alors juste pour présisé le Nutella c'est tout sauf du chocolat... Et la gaufre c'est les mêmes qu'on achète déjà faite au super marché et qu'on réchauffe au four... Niveau ambiance, si vous aimer entendre chanter le serveur et les cuisiniers sur des musique de variété française commercial, c'est votre goût mais en tout cas pas le mien. Et aussi j'ai oublié de vous dire mais apporter des habits de ski car j'ai eu froid tout le repas... Total de 52.50 à 2. heureusement que j'avais des tickets resto par ce que clairement ça m'aurait fait mal de payer ça de ma poche... Une grosse blague se restaurant franchement je...
