Food & Brew - Le FaB — Restaurant in Blois

I was a single traveler and by the looks of the place, Food & Brew seemed like a nice place to get a beer and dinner. I was wrong. They wouldn't let me sit inside since I was a party of 1. Then the bartender told me she would come outside to get my beer and food order. 15 minutes later she did finally. That should have been my sign that they don't care about my business and gone elsewhere. The steak was overcooked and tough. The beer good but I couldn't order another one cause she was never around. I went in to pay so I could leave and was told it would be a few minutes before she could ring me up since she was pouring other drink orders. Understandable, except a few minutes isn't 10+. It wasn't until a French group wanted to pay and she rang up 3 separate totals that she finally got to me. Overall bad service, lack of customer care, and terrible tasting food would leave me warn any single travelers or small groups of foreigners against...

This place has potential, but it wasn't a great dinner. I totally understand it was a busy day, so I do take in account service would be a bit slower due to that. My veggie burger, which has an omelet inside, basically turned into a runny egg (not just the yellow, also the white) on my plate. The servers seemed overwhelmed with how busy things were, we had to wait quite a while before we could order anything. The beer was good. Overall, not dramatic, but I wouldn't recommend it...

Arrivant sans réserver, on m'a dit que la terrasse était complète. Ok, je me suis assis sur le tonneau, j'ai eu ma bière 15-20 minutes après. Ensuite, de nouvelles personnes arrivent, donc pour elle, je vous garantie qu'elles n'avaient point de réservation, on leur a déplié une table et 2 chaises,et ont pu commander avant moi. Ok elles étaient âgées ces dames, mais aussitôt assis ont sortis leur paquet de chips (normal?) Une planche à partager et 2 petites bières, ok une facture à 15€ (la mienne était de 39€ à la fin). Après ma première bière et demi (oui j'en ai recommandé une en attendant qu'une place se libère), j'ai relancé le serveur 2,3 fois avant, il a pu me trouver une table. Qui était libre depuis 30min. Aussitôt assis à ma nouvelle table, paf, je passe commande, directement, d'une nouvelle bière ainsi que d'un pichet de vin rouge et d'un rissoto. La bière n'est jamais arrivée, mais le rissoto ainsi que le vin rouge sont arrivés en 5min top chrono ! Le rissoto, pas mauvais, un peu froid, mais pas trop piquant (cool!) Ensuite, 15min d'attente, néant des serveurs, j'ai décidé de quitter les lieux (en payant bien sûr) 1 étoile de plus pour le ticket sans détail. Bref, je pense qu'il y a mieux à proximité, j'ai pas...
