Ever dreamt of waking up with a château view from your room?
Last week, I spent a very romantic pre-Valentine’s weekend in the Loire region just a couple of hours away from Paris. The hotel we stayed at @relaisdechambord is situated just in front of the magnificent Château de Chambord and every morning I was so thrilled to wake up to this view from our room ✨
We spent a wonderful and relaxing weekend with the best view imaginable enjoying the hotel’s spa when it was raining outside. We had a romantic dinner in the hotel’s elegant bistronomic restaurant Le Grand Saint-Michel. In its menu you will find the very essence of French gastronomy as well as a carefully curated selection of French and local wines from the vineyards of the regions.
And of course, we had some walks in the nature beside the Loire river, we had some bike rides with our pup in the domaine (yes, the hotel is dog friendly) and I finally visited again château de Chambord (it’s been 5 years) ❤️
