Grill Bar Le Saint Louis — Restaurant in Blois

Even given the touristic location, price was a bit exaggerated. Service was very good. Sausage was good, other dishes were ok, but the onion soup was disgusting. It was inedible. Other comments here come to this same conclusion.

Once we went to pay, and were at the cashier, we complained about the soup, and were awarded 20% off on the soup. An absolute joke. Any decent restaurant would not charge the soup at all.

An unfortunate addition to a historic monument which itself displays perfection, not a word i would attribute to this restaurant offering. UPF's red hot tin opener, over priced, a throughly unpleasant experience. The food offering at Chambord needs to go an look at what Villandry is offering the customer both in terms of quality and price. In addition the service was awful, salad tipped over one customer, staff tripping up stairs, looked more like a circus than a restaurant. Don't go to the loo use the forest...

Chambord was spectacular. Felt as though built for Alice in Wonderland. Gardens, moats, amazingly beautiful park. The restaurants prefer French visitors however, and not Americans. I speak a little french.. we ordered a cheese plate and bread. We requested bread a second time after the cheese was delivered before our main course.
