What's your favorite cuisine? I would not know how to answer this question. But I can tell you which ones I would not choose: French and Italian. I know, that's weird for a Frenchman. 🤷 And that's tough too cause, in France, approximately 1/2 the restaurants are... Italian! (ok maybe not 1/2 but still a lot). 😓 You know why I don't like these cuisines, right? 1 word: dairies. 🤢 Unfortunately, my friends and family are not like me so they often offer to go to Italian restaurants, and I can't always escape. 😔 Near my aunt's, in Pantin, there's an Italian restaurant called Brunello where she decided to take us, seconded by my son (have kids, they said... 😜). The venue was quite random, especially because we sat inside. There's a terrace over the canal so the outside is nicer but the weather was so hot 🥵 that we tried to hide inside to enjoy the AC... which obviously and unfortunately didn't seem to work well. 😢 The service was friendly, not more, not less. The food was ok. My pasta was overcooked (like French pasta) and, as for the toppings, the tuna was very good while the rest was so-so. The plates were big and 1 course was enough to eat well, but the presentation was far from being the greatest. I dunno if that meal was expensive as I didn't pay the bill but I don't think it was. Really good restaurant I love to come here and already been here several times! A bit pricy but worthy too. the food quality here never let you down, they’re treating food material seriously and I’m glad I found this gem here! Dans l'ensemble, bon, copieux, produits de qualité, cadre chaleureux, et resto bien situé, face au canal. Des bémols sont à noter... sur la sauce 4 fromages un peu liquide mais ça n'a pas gâché pour autant le plat qui était très bon. La pizza Romana n'est pas digne d'un restaurant italien, rarement mangé une pizza aussi fade, le burger avec un pain plutôt sec et un steack trop cuit alors qu'il a été demandé saignant. Et, enfin si vous souhaitez un cocktail, vaut mieux venir tôt car à peine 20h et plus de fanta et plus de mojito... le sens commercial est peut être à revoir car le serveur ne nous a pas permis de choisir autre chose en cocktail vu qu'il ne nous a rien proposé comme alternative, peut être de nous remettre la carte aurait été judicieux, par exemple... Mais très sincèrement, il nous a donné l'impression qu'on le gonflait !! Malgré tout, je fais l'impasse sur ces bémols car dans l'ensemble les plats sont bons mais la prochaine fois je me contenterai de choix classiques pour ne plus être déçue et peut être de...
