Extremely rude manager We had planned an evening dinner, we reserved a table with good advance and the same day we called at lunch to confirm this reservation. We arrived at night at 9:35 pm the reservation was at 9:30 (keep in mind business normally should have a 15 minutes tolerance after the time of the reservation and in this case it should even be more the case since we gave credit card info to book the table) The manager, a blonde woman and quite rude welcomed us and to our surprise she said we canceled the reservation during previously at lunch which is completely untrue since we called in fact to confirm this reservation. We were then kicked out in a very rude way and the manager (the blonde lady) proceeded to accuse us of canceling while denying any fault. So we were left at almost 10 pm in the middle of Megève without a place to eat, we then took ourselves to the bistrot of megeve (a way better restaurant than the hibou blanc located nearby) And then, we received a call by the same rude manager telling us that she was trying to find us a solution after kicking us out in that manner implying that we should be grateful. We declined such offer knowing the way we got previously treated In conclusion, I highly suggest you to look for another option rather than this restaurant since they don't respect their clients and are very rude and impolite showing a clear lack of ...

If there was below, one star, I would give it service is very bad waiters are unfriendly. I was trying to enter and open the door, pushing my daughter in the stroller. The waiter comes open the door and I was really struggling because of the bricks on the floor he was like he close the door and go inside and leave me struggling alone with the with the stroller. Then I managed to open the door by myself, and when we entered, another server came, he asked us where we wanted to sit for dinner. There was the area which was nice with the glass. We said we want this then the first waiter who was very rude, came and close the curtain and says to his other in French not to allow us sitting there because my daughter was crying while in understand French and he didn’t bother. I made a big complaint but he didn’t bother come to apologize he just carried out. Today I came alone to give it another try, I wanted to have a drink and a crepe he was washing me of my order he said to go outside where people sit on high chairs for drinks only. And when I asked him I want outside he said this is only for lunch while I could see people having croissants and coffee for breakfast it was only 11 am. Servers are rude and arrogant unfriendly with parents with kids. WORST experience...

Great location and the food is also good. The management is really trying to offer a good experience. But terrible service from one waiter in particular. First we came and asked for a table, the guy told us to wait on the corridor whereas there was some tables available. We needed to ask the manager in order to get a table (thanks to her). This waiter ignored us the rest of the time but we managed to ask him two glasses of wine. He said they didn’t have the one we wanted while not offering any other option. We asked for another region with same range of price obviously and on the bill he actually charged us a wine three times more expensive. On purpose he also put us the bread from the last day on the table...another has to change it for the correct bread.. He really was trying to make us feel uncomfortable and was quiet aggressive, even his colleagues asked him to calm down and were chocked with his attitude. At the end he was even saying that from the beginning he didn’t like us! So unprofessional... Then he said he didn’t care if we were not coming again because “the restaurant is doing so great they don’t care about losing clients” Its a shame because again it’s a great place where I used to go a lot and sorry for the manager that is really trying her...
