Read moreI’m just wondering if the “amazing new owner” has asked some friends to leave positive reviews because, after we left a negative review few days ago, there are 11 (ELEVEN) new reviews all with 5 stars.
I think it’s pointless to write a poem about our AWFUL and HORRIBLE experience in this restaurant. If you scroll down, you can see how rude the owner is ( please refer also to tripadvisor reviews ), and before giving money to him, you should think twice. There are amazing restaurants in Bordeaux which deliver an amazing costumer service, and believe me this place DOES NOT DESERVE €1. (Just want to add, super average food as well). When I have unpleasant experiences, I usually let it go but my experience in this place was so bizarre that I couldn’t ignore it and I really hope they will do something about it because TECHNICALLY negative reviews should help the business to improve and learn from their own mistakes, but that’s not the case apparently.
My dear Philippes, do me a favour, go and have a Bon Ton rules course ( I don’t think I have to translate “ Bon ton”, right? ) so maybe you won’t need to ask your friends to leave 5 stars reviews for you.
Oh, one last thing, do yourself a favour - please don’t be bother to even answer to my review because otherwise you will just confirm what I just wrote...
Read moreWe had a booking for 4 people (2 couples) at 20:00 for celebrating the birthday of our friend. They made us wait 15min for our table to be ready. Once sat down, we had to wait 30 minutes to finally get up ourselves and take the menu while the manager or head waitress was smoking her 2nd cigarette not aknowledging us. They finally took our order at 20:55. We ordered a bottle of white wine that came warm and when asking for ice to put in the wine they said they are running low on ice. We asked water glasses and said they didn’t have any glasses. At 22:30 they came to announce one of our dish wasn’t available and offered us a lobster as an apology. 2 of us did not lobster. We finally recceived our food at 23:00 and it was wrong. A plate of 24 oysters instead of 12 oysters and clams (for the 2 who don’t like oysters. I can tell you, the food was nothing to write a book about. Arrogant manager in the defensive saying we offered you lovster as an apology is not enought for this aweful experience. Please, do not come. All the guests were pissed off and this place does not deserve your...
