Wok Way — Restaurant in Bordeaux

Really fantastic, authentic ramen.

Took a chance on this place as it was one of few places open at 2pm (because France). Really glad we did though, the hand-pulled freshly made noodles here were fantastic.

I had bouillon broth noodles with duck. They noodles were the star, a little chewy to bite, great texture. This is how noodles should be. Broth was tasty without being overpowering, duck was tender and flavourful.

Wife had the same broth/noodles but with beef instead. Same story, just really great noodles.

Restaurant was relatively empty (granted it was after 2pm when everyone's having a snooze) so there wasn't much atmosphere to speak of, but it made for a nice peaceful lunch so we...

Amazing experience! The staff was very polite and nice to us and the food was superb! 10/10!! UPDATE: we visited this restaurant again in November 2024 (even though we are tourists, we visit it every year). Well, this last time we were scammed. When we were about to pay the bill, the old lady asked us if we wanted a ticket and I said yes, she totally ignored me and gave me only the copy of the bank (you can’t see the prices of what you’ve ordered there and check if there’s any mistake). She charged us 90€, instead of 70€. We were loyal clients and this experience completely ruined the high regard we had towards this restaurant. So...

Not recommended if you have any hygiene standards Delicious food and friendly cooks, but the waitress ruined it all. She gave only our table forks instead of chopsticks (even though we are Asians). When we asked for chopsticks, she grabbed them by the part you eat with and scrubbed against it with her hands, because something were on them. I haven’t seen her washing her hands prior.
