Tasty food, fantastic staff. Menu is descriptive and true to the plate. The burger gourmande has a delicious foie gras sauce, that I would love on the side to dip chips in, the meat was cooked perfectly, seignant was the right choice. The salade d'hiver on l'aime was so so good and filling. The combination of apples, walnuts, blue cheese and endive worked really well, with a dressing that brought it all together. Boiled eggs and extra bit of protein and decadence that I appreciated. The omelette was light and well cooked, no sloppyness to be seen, with good chips and salad. Our server was hilarious and took our order with patience and a smile even though they were obviously busy. Good Belgium blonde beer on tap. The cafe gourmande was generous with four different desserts and really good coffee, a must have to finish the meal and a great thing to share. Food was very poor. I had steak which was really chewy and fatty, the accompanying pepper sauce was like glue and tasteless. My daughter had an omelette which was burnt on the outside and inedible. To be fair they didn’t charge us for this when we complained. My wife had their take on a croque which was also flavourless and bland and she didn’t enjoy. The restaurant deliberately overcharged me, and refused to refund me for the item which had been ordered by another customer who I have no connection or knowledge of. Avoid . I have no connection with any of the other people on my table. Separate guests have separate bills if someone fails to pay you don't just select a target customer and charge them .
