Great location. Order and take number to the table, ideal for what would appear a quick order. But not the case. After a 30 minute the wait for a wrap and fries, attitude and a bit of hostility offered when asked how much longer after 30 minutes of purchasing the order. Lettuce old and asked if a new salad could be offered, the answer was not only no, but no with raised voice. Afterwards, waiters looking at you as if you created problems; couldn't eat in peace once meal received. I did ask for my money back but was told no; the order would be out in 2 minutes. Honestly, I made thr mistake of going there even though it has a 2.9 review. But I wanted to give it a chance as it is located in a million dollar location. Overall, an explanation was given that the place was busy; it was at best 60% capacity with 100% staff. Tortilla, chicken, old lettuce, tomatoe and sauce along with soggy fries. Thr chef salad had old lettuce as well and chicken was dry. Will not come back. Hope you enjoy the scenery with a hostile meal

We stopped off en route to Spain in Argeles sur Mer and came across Charly Plage. Its a few hundred metres south of the main drag but well worth the walk. You order at the bar...we did. I'd been driving for ages so didn't look at the receipt. I wasn't surprised when 2 baguettes turned up...We'd asked for Moules Mariniere. The girl who served us didn't inspire confidence. However the waitress didn't bat an eyelid, she took us at our word and very soon 2 steaming bowls appeared. The mussels were small, almost red in colour and utterly delicious. Even better, when I said I must pay the €12 additional that it should have cost, the owner was adamant that I could not. What a save! If we go back there again and the main drag looked like it had some funky shops I'd definitely go back to Charly Plage.

Stunning location and super value snack lunch. This is our (-almost daily) lunch spot whilst on the beach. The Pain Bagnat is a huge half-baguette filled, and I mean FILLED, with tuna mayonnaise, alongside lettuce, tomatoes and boiled egg.... certainly enough for two to share for a very filling snack...and less than 9 euro. I'd say the staff are very attentive & pleasant but in my opinion do not rush you out. They certainly do clear the tables quickly, but only when you've finished or have left. Free cold water provided, clean & maintained toilet, and a shower. Good coffee, great service (order at the bar) and great value. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for refreshments,...
