It is not just elegant and great tasting food that makes this restaurant popular with locals and tourists. The particular feature of the place is a charismatic and charming owner, who pays attention to all her guests and makes you feel special and at home. We were the first guests here at 19.00, but the place was full within 30 minutes. The menu is not very vast but well thought through. We took a set for 32 Euro (for lunch a 24 Euro option is available). I liked an aubergine millefeuille as a starter and a baked cod for the main. Our son enjoyed a kid’s menu with a steak and fries. Partner had a veggie burger, turned out to be some bits of veg in a bun for €17, I had Mules Mariniere, I was served very small mussels with minimal sauce, which wasn't such a bad thing as it was literally brine. The only vegetation in the dish where 2 bits of shallot. There are regional variations, so 2 days later I ordered the dish elsewhere. Very tasty and good value for money fish. My partner and I had a fish platter each, which was served on one massive plate and came with veg & fries. An extraordinary amount of fish inc. mussels, squid, razor clams, tiger prawns, cod and a whole cooked fish for €33 each. The service was great and staff really friendly. Lovely location too!
