Coquillages & Co — Restaurant in Caen

This was a surprising little find on the beach. We went here for dinner and it was delicious. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was lovely. The fish and chips, which is not at all like English fish and chips (which was a good thing) was excellent and the salad that my wife had was also excellent. We also had crêpes for dessert and they were cooked fresh and were really good. The service was also very good and the staff were very quick in serving us and getting us our food.

The perfect beach bar on the Normandie coast. A few minutes walk from the port and commercial centre of Ouistreham-Riva Bella, overlooking the golden sands of a quiet, family-friendly beach.

A warm welcome and good service with a smile were matched by the simple, but excellent menu. No surprise that seafood featured prominently but there were also other options including a traditional croque with a bowl of delicious frites.

A high standard of housekeeping, including a very clean WC, ensured that Coquillages & Co are on our new list of regular...

A group of 5 of us stopped by for lunch and shelter from the rain. Between us we had fish and chips and I had the oysters. Absolutely top drawer! Even though it was a torrential downpour the staff could not be more welcoming, the service great but the food - out of this world. Highly recommend- prices good, anything similar in the UK in a similar location would have been x5 the price. Well...
