We were wandering around the city looking for a place to eat. We eventually ended up in this area and found the restaurant. There were a few in this area and we ended up trying this place because of the menu. They had a special menu with three courses for 27 Euros. They had an outer area but it was empty since it was winter. We didn't book beforehand and was able to get a table. They didn't speak a lot of English and we didn't really speak French but we were able to order and pay without many issues. After ordering we got some bread with a shrimp spread. Both were quite tasty. It did take a while to get the entree, but we had five people and it all came out at the same time. I had the escargot which was served over bone marrow. AprĂšs vĂ©rification, les cuisiniers ont toutefois acceptĂ© de nous prĂ©parer les plats.
DĂšs lors, tout sâest dĂ©roulĂ© dans la prĂ©cipitation : les entrĂ©es et les plats ont Ă©tĂ© servis simultanĂ©ment, sans coordination. Nous avons dĂ» insister pour pouvoir commencer par les entrĂ©es. Ă peine celles-ci terminĂ©es, les assiettes nous ont Ă©tĂ© retirĂ©es Ă la hĂąte pour laisser place aux plats. Le service Ă©tait clairement pressĂ© de finir.
Un des membres de notre groupe nâa pas reçu son plat. Steven est revenu nous annoncer que les cuisiniers Ă©taient partis et quâil ne serait donc pas servi. Steven est venu nous lâannoncer 10 minutes aprĂšs, en rigolant et en disant que la sĆur de ce dernier devait partager son plat avec. Finalement, aprĂšs quelques minutes dâattente, le plat est arrivĂ©, prĂ©parĂ© par la patronne du restaurant âLa Fringaleâ, situĂ© en face.
Si Steven sâest montrĂ© agrĂ©able au dĂ©but, son attitude a rapidement changĂ©. Il est devenu susceptible, peu Ă lâĂ©coute et particuliĂšrement dĂ©nigrant envers lâĂ©quipe en cuisine. Pourtant, nous avons toujours gardĂ© un ton calme et respectueux.
Quant aux desserts inclus dans le menu, ils ne nous ont pas Ă©tĂ© servis, sous prĂ©texte que les cuisines Ă©taient fermĂ©es. Aucune excuse ne nous a Ă©tĂ© prĂ©sentĂ©e ; Steven sâest contentĂ© de nous inviter Ă aller rĂ©gler lâaddition.
Câest Ă ce moment que les choses se sont encore dĂ©gradĂ©es. Lors du paiement, nous avons constatĂ© lâagacement Ă©vident du serveur lorsque nous avons demandĂ© un geste commercial pour le plat arrivĂ© avec 30 minutes de retard. Chacun a payĂ© sĂ©parĂ©ment, mais Ă la fin, il manquait environ 25 âŹ, alors que tous avaient rĂ©glĂ© leur part. Steven a refusĂ© lâĂ©ventualitĂ© dâune erreur et nous a empĂȘchĂ©s de quitter les lieux tant que la somme nâĂ©tait pas rĂ©glĂ©e. Par ailleurs, un exemple concret dâerreur : mon amie a Ă©tĂ© facturĂ©e deux spritz alors quâelle nâen avait consommĂ© quâun.
Au-delĂ des erreurs de calcul, lâintention de douiller le client semblait Ă©vidente.
De plus, une dame prĂ©sente au comptoir vraisemblablement une autre serveuse sâest permise de mâaccuser dâĂȘtre la âmeneuseâ du groupe et de faire preuve de mauvaise foi. Ce comportement dĂ©placĂ© a mis un terme Ă une expĂ©rience dĂ©jĂ bien dĂ©cevante
