Brasserie du Port — Restaurant in Calvi

The food was good and the waiter that served us was very nice and friendly, though they weren’t too attentive to details (eg. They left the finished olives on the table for a very long time, even after coming back to our table), but those were just small things and overall the service was good. The food was good, a part from my starter (Salad de Langouste - lobster salad) that was very small and way too cooked or either frozen (I can’t know, but it was very hard and dry). The location was great, and with a great view from the terrace, but the walls definitely need some renovation since they’re full of cracks and the place looks like it’s about to fall down. En un mot, c'est ma "cantine" (dans le sens où c'est mon resto préféré !) a l'Ile Rousse, quand j'y suis !

Tout d'abord la cuisine : excellente et à des prix raisonnables (c'est à souligner). Je recommande particulièrement dans les suggestions le poulpe grillé, l'assiette de fromages corses, miam (voir photos). Le cadre : parfait, à l'écart de l'agitation du centre ville, avec une vue magnifique. Belle terrasse à l'étage, très agréable, que le temps soit splendide ou la mer déchaînée (voir photos). Vue sympa aussi de nuit depuis le bateau retour (snif!) L'ambiance : familiale, sans chichis inutiles ni feints... les patrons sont la gentillesse incarnée, les serveurs sont professionnels, aimables et souriants... que demander de plus ??? Un endroit où l'on se sent juste... bien ! Au top !!! S'il y avait un petit bémol à apporter (parce que nul n'est parfait !) : parfois, un peu d'attente pour le service mais après, je ne trouve pas ça plus gênant que ça (sinon, autant aller manger chez MC Do !). Un petit rafraîchissement extérieur serait le bienvenu au niveau de la façade pour donner encore un peu plus d'attrait à ce super établissement !

En résumé : un lieu incontournable, à essayer absolument ! Merci à vous tous pour tous ces beaux et bons moments...
