MAGARI — Restaurant in Calvi

Just came back from Magari restaurant. Today, the manager Silvan was extremely rude, ruining my fun at dinner. I arrived with an upset stomach so preferred to avoid food. When the waitress kindly said it was not possible to have this reservation with only some ordering food, I ordered a pizza, but to take it away, and throw it out later, to keep the restaurant management happy.This did not seem to be enough because at one point, Silvan decided to come over to the table to scold us for not having ordered like other patrons and for having occupied his tables! ( this when he had another 8 empty tables in the restaurant!) The other food taken was very good, and i had already saved the number for next time, but this rude treatment ruined the whole evening and any future plans to return. Customers cannot and should not be treated like young children, and rudely. Pity that such good places are ruined by the rude behaviour of their managers! A...

A really nicely decorated restaurant at a wonderful location, with stunning views. The food is excellent, and portions are really big. The menu is diverse, and there is also a great choice of deserts. The staff is friendly, and most of them speak English. The only negative thing for me is the beer price, 9e for a draft beer, on whole of Corsica the most I paid was 6e, even the "fancy" restaurants, it's like they don't want you to...

We were two tables (6kids 6adults), the pizzas for the kids arrived swiftly but the food of the adults never arrived despite repeated requests over 1.5h waiting. We stood up and left paying just the kids food. Staff was kind enough to let us go without paying the kids desserts, which was appreciated. The place is supernice.
