LA CRÉMAILLÈRE — Restaurant in Carpentras

Soooooooo it is Right in front of the theater and has some trees providing some shade which is why we chose this place. The Pizza was mediocre, a little thick out of a weird yellowish dough.. tasted ok. The Cesar Salad was a complete joke - it had around half a kilo of feta, mayonnaise and Cesar Sauce out of a jar and no chicken.. when we asked for it we were bought a huge bowl of very dry chicken coming right out of the fridge. Most of the (student?) waiters were on there phones all the time and vaping in front of the entrance, even when carrying dishes you could see them scrolling an...

Je vais noter que le service car nous nous sommes arrêter que pour boire un verre. Nous arrivons à notre table et attendons......😪. Enfin oui le voilà le serveur. Nous passons commande puis nous voyons le serveur compter, se disant il compte combien nous sommes ma femme précise "on est 6", le serveur rétorque un ice tea. Ma femme lui dis alors non...... On est 6, le serveur se retrouve sur une planète étrangère et prend la carte pour essayer de traduire les dires de ma femme, ma femme essaye de lui expliquer mais en vain. Le serveur commance à perdre patience limite j'ai cru que ma femme aller s'en manger une quand elle lui a dis qu'elle n'avait pas commandée un ice tea mais un coca 😅. Bref le serveur nous sert et à notre grande stupéfaction aucune erreur (ce qui ne fut pas le cas pour la table à côté ou le serveur à renifler les smooties qui se ressemblaient un peu trop 😨). Je dis que je désire régler par carte bleue, le serveur arrive derrière moi et fait un signe de la main pour me demander ma carte d'un air que j'ai interpréter comme étant c'est quand tu veux garçon. ........ enfin pour finir je dirais que tout cela est de ma faute, j'aurais dû lire les commentaires sur maps et j'aurais compris que plus loin il y avait des café...

Booked 3hours before and told the tables location couldn't be selected. When arrived fir dinner, table location was not good (behind à tree), many others booked with names written but they didn't agréé to swap. Very unfriendlly in the manner and answer too. Found another pizza place with very smiling service and outstanding pizza (festival cafe). Avoid if you can and prefer friendly / smiling...
