Brasserie de l'Aquarium — Restaurant in Chambéry

Ate here today for lunch. Service and atmosphere was lovely. Starters on the menu du jour were lovely. Unfortunately we both had to send the main (volaille) back as it was “warm” but not hot. It came back no different despite asking for it to be heated through properly. Sadly it spoilt the meal sending them both back once, we really couldn’t be bothered to send it back again and put it down to a bad experience. It came back so quickly it must have been from the same pot as there was no difference in temperature. I would have thought serving rice and chicken would have to be served piping hot to avoid food poisoning. Shame as it tasted nice but alas spoilt the meal. Mauvaise expérience, malgré un grand potentiel. Nous sommes passés le 21/06/2020 aux alentours de 22h30 et nous sommes installés dans la première partie de la terrasse avec les tabourets. Lors de la prise de commande nous avons commandé 2 bières et nous voulions aussi des boissons chaudes, on nous précise alors que les boissons chaudes ne sont plus servies à ce moment là. Nous avons donc dû prendre 2 sodas à la place (je précise que la terrasse était bien pleine). 20 minutes plus tard, nous remarquons de nouveaux clients qui prennent en commande des boissons chaudes et qui sont aussitôt servis, est-ce normal? Nous avons manifesté notre mécontentement auprès d'un barman à l’extérieur (cheveux mi-longs châtains, la cinquantaine), qui au lieu de trouver une solution au problème, nous prend de haut et précise qu'il est patron depuis 30 ans d'une boîte de nuit (quel rapport avec nos boissons chaudes? aucun), et qu'il ne rallumerai pas la machine pour faire des cafés. Nous avions une serveuse dans notre groupe, qui comprend certainement bien qu'une machine à café est éteinte à un moment donné de la soirée, et moi même qui travail dans le service à la clientèle, quand il y a un conflit avec un client, on essaie de trouver une solution..On empire pas la situation en étant malpoli et hautain. Je tiens aussi à préciser que lors de notre prise de parole, nous avons eu le droit à la magnifique intervention d'une barmaid (cheveux blonds mi-courts) qui elle aussi à son tour a voulu se mêler d'une façon agressive de ce qui ne la regardait pas. Je ne dénigre pas votre établissement, je constate simplement qu'une partie de votre personnel n'est pas à la hauteur de la qualité et des millions que vous avez dû investir dans votre bel établissement. Very nice view and atmosphere. This is what you pay for mostly here. Food was good. Friendly Staff that received us. Unfortunately when pointing out a problem with the wine and the chicken in the Cesar Salad, the manager(seemed like the manager)left me feeling unwelcome and awkward. They did fix both but sort of unwilling and with a weird attitude. Maybe didn’t catch them on their best day, it happens.
