BE WARNED. This restaurant is absolutely deceptive. They either don't speak English or pretend not to understand it. Yet, they conveniently offer an option to add burrata cheese to risotto and pasta. We had no idea about this option and didn't order it. We didn't mention anything about burrata cheese when ordering our food because we didn't even know such option was available. When the food came out with the cheese, we naturally assumed it was part of the menu because WE DIDN'T ORDER IT. They didn't bring us the bill, instead they took money at the till, and the chef, who also acts as the cashier, insisted that we had ordered burrata. WOW - The best truffle salad I ever had in my life was creatively made by Tomas at this beautiful, intimate restaurant nestled in the corner of the French village Moustiers Sainte Marie. I found this restaurant when I was looking for a last minute hotel room, before the restaurant opened for dinner. I met the Chef who graciously helped me find a room along with Amelie who both were the best hosts before, during and after dinner. A wonderful evening for me, as they kept me company on my solo dinner at their restaurant and made it the most memorable time for me all due to their everlasting hospitality and amazing food. My lady and I walked into this place on a rainy June evening. We were welcomed by a warm hostess who spoke French and English to us, and offered us seats at the one outside table, which sat below an awning. We were fine with the table, but the server double checked to make sure we didn’t want to sit inside. Throughout our meal, the vibe was great, and the food was pretty good. The truffle pizza was delicious, chewy crunchy dough, and just the right amount of truffle. Plus shaved truffle flakes, which I’d never seen before.
