The food menu is not very long or diverse, but what is there is served perfectly and is extremely tasty. I had the Croque Monsieur and I was very happy. The products from the patisserie are works of art, both in terms of presentation and of the balance of flavors. The choice of drinks is very long and all of the ones my group and I tasted were of prime quality.
Keeping up this level of quality and a great atmosphere on top of that does great credits to the owners and managers of this establishment, who could very easily coast on the balcony with amazing view, which everyone would clamor to consume food or drinks from just for the photo op.
I strongly recommend Café Gourmandises and not just to get a cup of coffee or tea! The view is a plus, but the pastries and the excellent service are the real selling points...
