A round of applause for the dedicated service at this restaurant. I felt especially welcome here. We were out downstairs and because we arrived upon opening the fan / air con was not on yet - so you could smell a tad bit of damp / humid in the cellar. But wore off quite quickly.
I would recommend the aperitif on the house - tomato purée was something I’d actually pay for. The short bread on the menu (with raspberry / lime cream) was also my favourite. Very refreshing.
Cured ham from the menu was a bit too salty for my liking. The veal was very well made - just enough flavouring that you could still taste the tenderness of the meat itself.

As a somewhat incomplete description, I had a rabbiit-salad micro-sandwich entree, rumsteak on sesonal vegies plat, a cheese plate, and a glass of an excellent grenache wine from the south. My wife had a de-constructed egg salad on white asparagus entree, trout with potatoes plat, and a rhubarb tart with rhubarb mousse dessert. Unfortunately the email confirmation the restaurant sent was a waiting list confirmation and not the actual reservation. She called the person with the 745 reservation and they didn't come by the time my 815 started.
