Clafoutis — Restaurant in Dinan

Today was my lucky day when I stumbled across Clafoutis, a charming cafe, in the heart of Dinan. The menu and decor both looked inviting so I sat down for lunch. What can I say? It was the best meal I’ve had since arriving in France a week ago. I enjoyed a refreshing salad of white asparagus and sliced strawberries as a starter, a mixed vegetable and lettuce salad with a green hummus topping, and a delicious pear crumble for dessert. A special discovery. Everything truly excellent and individualistic, from the decoration to the quality of meals presented, the friendliness of the owner, who speaks excellent English. The only drawback is the number of covers available, which is very small. So it is possible that there might be no space to enjoy a lunch. However, this is one of a very limited number of establishments that we would wait or return when room became available.

C’est avec une certaine émotion et grande nostalgie que j’écris cet avis à propos du restaurant Clafoutis tenu par Julie. J’y ai déjeuné hier (et régulièrement) et je garde un souvenir très fort de sa tartelette au citron, tellement délicieuse, j’en ai pris une seconde sur le champs (une pâte à tarte tellement bonne, bien sableuse en bouche, et la garniture, un lemon curd ? Léger et pas trop sucré, le tout est parfaitement équilibré). En plat, la tarte fine qui était succulente également, le fond de tarte parfait, les assaisonnements incroyables, des produits frais… pfff ça y est je salive 🤤 Allez y sans détour, vous serez accueillis chaleureusement dans une ambiance cosy et feutrée. Les prix sont justes, les boissons sourcees avec soin… Clafoutis est définitivement un incontournable des tables...
