This was an astonishing good and well-priced place for lunch. I had an incredible plat du jour with chicken with a rosemary cream sauce, fries, and salad for €14. A glass of white wine for €4 rounded out the meal, which was topped off with a YUMMY chocolate profiterole (vanilla ice cream with WARM dark chocolate sauce poured on top) which was unforgettable! Kind service, and lovely quiet pedestrian street to enjoy on a breezy spring day. Merci!!

It’s a surprise to find such an awesome restaurant here in Dinan. We’ve ordered the steak fillet and another beef dish that had to be cooked on hot stones. The food was so good that we added on the mussels which we didn’t regret at all! The friendly servers here topped their service! I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a great meal in Dinan!

Shamefully bad, really quite astonishing.

Trying to catch the attention of staff was a challenge for the whole meal and I had to resort to waving vigorously to get attention to get glasses so we could drink our bottle of water, and later to try to get them to bring a replacement stone hot enough to cook on. We failed.

The second stone was as cool as the first, just enough to gently boil the first batch and then only enough to warm the duck and steak to a grey wet exterior after that. The last pieces were on for five minutes and still raw. No hint of browning was possible, even at first.

We never got the water requested repeatedly and staff avoided asking how the meal was and seemed to avoid meeting our eyes. Like a fool I paid in full to just get away and put it behind me.

Raw chicken was supplied in a bowl but was touching a potato so I had to cook that too. Hope that worked! No cooking tools supplied so I had to use my knife and fork and hope wiping them on a napkin was good enough. Again, kicking myself for tolerating that.

It was the worst meal and restaurant experience I've had in many, many years, assuming it doesn't give me food poisoning, in which case it'll be at a...

Visited this restaurant for a evening dinner with family which we have done for the last 10 years, we have always received very good food and service but this evening would be the last, the service was unacceptable. It took over an hour and a half to receive our main course (this was served on a hot stone to be cooked by ourselves) why this takes so long to prepare is very odd. We were asked to keep our starters cutlery which was dirty which we refused to the disgust of the waitress. The mussels were dry that were supposed to be served with a white wine sauce. Potatoes were burnt. Utter rubbish. The restaurant is a shadow of its former self. Avoid and travel to the port or anywhere else for a good meal - there is plenty of choice...
