Pizzeria Cecco — Restaurant in Dinan

A very unpleasant experience. Mediocre Italian restaurant, average food, weird and eccentric interior design and the most rude service. I am vegetarian and I accidentally ordered a salad which contained shrimp (the word shrimp was written in French though the rest was in English), definitely my fault, but the way the waiter and the service manager treated my request to exchange the salad was unacceptable. They refused to exchange the salad and made us feel extremely uncomfortable, up to the point my husband gave in and asked them if at least they could remove the shrimp so he will eat it (he’s also a vegetarian) they agreed but took at least 10 more minutes to bring the salad back, meanwhile the second dish was getting completely cold. In addition they took our unfinished bread basket and transferred it to another table, which is highly unhygienic in my opinion. Had to send back some kind of food that was on the menu as “lasagna” - TERRIBLE taste and cold in the middle. I think it was something in the freezer for too long and thrown into the oven. Not sure what was happening with that. Then asked for the spaghetti bolognaise which was also terrible. We didn’t ask for a refund but the manageress or owner or whatever came over to ask me what the problem was and I said - but all she did was negate everything I said so I didn’t know the point of her bothering to ask! The table next to us had a problem with their dish and sent it back as well. Seems like a place that is not willing to accept any criticism. This is a tourist town, so they are probably not worried about repeat business (although we are foreigners- we are NOT tourists so will never eat there again and will not...

Fantastic little Pizzeria with mouthwateringly delicious pizza. All of us finished every bite of ours, including our toddler. There were good baby chnaging facilities and highchairs provided. The restaurant was cosy and classy inside and relaxed outside. Menu had a huge variety of dishes which I'm sure would suit all tastes. Only issues are that there isn't a children's or toddlers menu, and when the restaurant become busy the staff got side tracked on a few occasions and would leave you mid sentence to help someone else without even saying excuse me, which was quite irritating.
