An absolute disaster !! We were a party of five guests, and everyone left the restaurant with total disbelief written all over their faces.... The food is nothing but terrible, the bread that arrives first is the kind that probably has been in and out 20 times at various tables since lunch, I would not feed any living creature with that bread... First course below average, foie gras terrine served with a green salad, fish soup with croutons made a month ago, grated sweaty cheese - and we won't even mention the little amuse of "cod mousse", the smell, color and texture made everyone do nothing but staring at it and seeing if anyone had the guts to start eating, needles to say no one did.. Mains - entrecote, as thin as a schnitzel, totally overcooked despite being ordered medium... filet de bouef, also overcooked, the vegetables was straight out of the freezer, sauce out of a can.... Desserts - this was thin slices of pineapple, ice-cream and pickled ginger, all tasting artificial to put it mildly... the joke of the evening was a cheese plate, three nice slices of good cheese, but it was served with a mixed salad, complete with an oil and vinegar dressing, and the bread as mentioned above.... with the bill came some cookies that you with a bit of luck would break your teeth on, or kill a person if you threw them hard.... that a tiny glass of limoncello was offered at the end did not make any difference to a completely ruined evening... the service was careless.... Also be aware that a lot of families with small children quickly fill up the place, and the noise become horrendous...

My partner had a delicious steak for main course, but the chips were on par with macdonalds chips, i had an aioli. I was pretty disappointed with the fishy taste from the white fish and there was a lot of other stuff on the plate that just didnt feel like it belonged. Overall i was dissapointed and couldnt finish my meal, which is a shame as i was really excited to eat here as we used to come here when i was a child.
Service was fine nothing special, i was speaking french when i asked for the table and got a large selection of tables to choose from, but we noticed some people were getting turned down even when there was alot of tables free. (Maybe to do with dress code/...
Read moreNicely situated in the port, on the first level above the shops. We had lunch outside on the terrace. Perfectly shaded in over 30°. Caressed with a sea breeze the view towards St Tropez and over the port of Sainte Maxime was pleasant. Quickly shown to our reserved table our server approached, no smile no welcome just, "you here for the Aoili" ! The suite was no improvement. Plates just put in front of us and off he went. Its the end of the season, but that is not an excuse for his attitude. Other tables near us were. given the same cold treatment, (I dont care if your here or not) Apart for this, the meal was perfect, I recomend highly for a good meal, hoping you get a more...
