La Patatière — Restaurant in Dunkirk

Came here for dinner this evening and had a delightful experience. The food was really nice. I was a little hesitant initially that the jacket potato wouldn't exactly be my speed but I ordered the Operation Dynamo meal and I was very pleased with it.

My mother and I gave it our best effort, but neither of us could finish our meals so if you're after a dinner option that's very filling and not silly expensive, I would definitely recommend here.

As pictured, we also ordered some wine to share and they had a very sweet 'little' bottle option so that we didn't need to worry about ordering far more than we could drink.

Brilliant restaurant. Delicious food. Excellent staffs. They set the bar quite high for other restaurants in this price range. With around €16 you get a main dish + salad + dessert + coffee which was too big of a portion for me. 1 portion of main dish could have been easily shared with 2 people if you hate wasting food. Nice outdoor seatings. You can get a nice sunset view if you come at the right time. The waiters spoke good english and were really friendly and attentive. The experience was fantastic. We got there a big group of people including children and they were very nice placing us in two tables in the terrace. The staff was very patient and nice with us. Speaking about the food the concept is curious and yummy. It wasn't my first time eating stuffed jacket potato, but this one had lots of options, coming also with salad and including dessert.
