La Juxtaposition is a hidden gem in Barbizon! The service was outstanding, and the staff made us feel so welcome. All the desserts looked absolutely divine, and the cozy atmosphere—with a fireplace and a warm, inviting vibe—was just perfect after a nice walk. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing coffee break!

Really liked this cafe. The decor itself was so beautiful and blended in so well with the forest of Fontainebleau as it's really on the cusp of the forest. The lady who served me was very warm and friendly. I took a coffee and beautiful piece of lemon cake. The presentation of the cake and coffee was so pretty.

Si vous êtes de passage à Barbizon, vous devez absolument découvrir La Juxtaposition, salon de thé installé Grande Rue à l’orée de la forêt. C’est un lieu très chaleureux, où il fait bon se reposer, télé travailler, flâner en terrasse sous le marronnier ou prêt du feu de cheminée en dégustant un excellent chocolat fait maison. Vous y serez accueilli par la jeune femme chaleureuse, souriante, qui a travaillé pour rendre ce lieu unique, décoré avec beaucoup de goût. Vous pourrez y goûter ses pâtisseries maison accompagnées d’un thé, d’un café ou d’un bon vin. Vous pourrez aussi dénicher des trésors au coin boutique, participer à des ateliers et découvrir des expositions de peintures, de photos… Et à ne pas manquer, le brunch organisé tous les derniers dimanches du mois. Je vous recommande cette visite. Vous passerez un très bon moment.

Totally in love with this place. Visited the first time today, got an apple and almond gluten-free cake with an Indian summer tea. Also a nice place to buy stuff for tea and drinks like cups, bowls, and even bottles and their warmth isolator bags.
