La Locanda — Restaurant in Fontainebleau

I’ve waited two years to write this review, as I was always hoping things would improve. I might be American but I live in neighborhood and am disappointed with the service we received tonight. We came for dinner, the patio was closed because it rained and they obviously didn’t want to wipe down the tables, but we gladly sat inside. When we were seated we were met with frustration because the person sat us at a table that was dirty, apparently it was our fault and it was an issue and we were met with frustration by the server for sitting. After we ordered and waited for our food. Other tables received impeccable service, however we were ignored. After we ordered we were completely avoided until it was time to clear our plates. After, we were not not offered the dessert menu or anything else. we just sat there watching the entire restaurant being cleaned around us. Finally when we realized we wouldn’t be offered anything else, we went to the front and paid. Food was fine and no complaints, service was deplorable. Nous nous y sommes rendus un vendredi soir avec ma chérie avec réservation dans ce resto italien situé non très loin de Fontainebleau, à Avon, mais accessible en 5 minutes top chrono en voiture depuis le centre-ville de Fontainebleau.

Le service est nickel, le monsieur au crâne rasé nous a reçu de la plus belle des manière, dans un cadre relaxant et tamisé, avec un sourire et un accueil digne des plus grandes tables parisiennes, on apprécie.

Au menu, les différents plats sont soit servis en mode "entrée" ou mode "plat de résistance", en résumé, en mode petite ou grande faim. Nous avons décidé d'opter pour 3 plats, une salade de saumon, un plat de pâtes pesto burrata et une Margherita. Les deux premiers étaient très savoureux, mention spéciale vraiment pour la salade qui était très bien assaisonnée ! Petit hic néanmoins pour la pizza qui n'était pas assez relevé en tomate et basilic, trop de mozzarella... Je n'en tiens pas rigueur au vu de l'expérience que j'ai eue.
