We were excited coz my son loves steaks. Good thing we ordered the kids menu well don’t coz he also hated their sauce. I don’t like their special sauce too and there’s no other option like a brown sauce.

The steaks were done medium coz we don’t like it bloody. But if we knew there would be candles under the steak we would have gone with medium rare.

However even the first pieces of steak we ate (that aren’t overdone) were hard to chew.

Maybe if there were other options for the sauce, I could come back. But since there is none, I’m not going.

The staff were nice though and spoke English. The best thing about this place...

Absolutely brilliant. There's no choice - you're having salad followed by steak frites (you do get a choice from a small selection of good and reasonably priced wines and about 4 desserts) but when what they do is as good as this they're right to make sure everyone has it!

Bread was delicious, salad was perfectly dressed, steak was perfectly cooked and super tender, the (secret) sauce was unlike anything we'd had before but really really tasty and interesting. The chips were outstanding and they'll bring more if you're quick enough with them!

All in all absolutely what you want in a local restaurant in France. Pity we were only visiting...

We went to this rest for lunch last Sunday and make a reservation for 1230. When we arrived we got seated right away. We ordered 15 mins later and our boys received their plates quite quickly while we got served with salade and bread first. We only received our main plate which was steak around 13:25. In our opinion being a restaurant serving a unique menu , we find the food takes too long to come. Also in most restaurants, the kids menu includes normally a glass of syrup but here we had to pay 3.50 euro/glass, also in our opinion expensive. Other than these 2 points, we all enjoyed our food very much. The sauce on the steak...
