Azul Café - coffee shop — Restaurant in Grasse

This is such a lovely small café, with a great vibe and the food and coffee I had were fantastic. The two members of staff I saw are working really hard and are clearly focused on creating the best food and drink. The café is very popular, understandably, and wait times can be quite long at the moment (it is August, mid-morning breakfast time and Juan les Pins is very busy). Unfortunately, the coffee wasn’t great. It lacked strength and the flat white tasted quite watery. That said, the staff were friendly and happy to answer all my questions about the coffee. One downside is that you can’t purchase the beans they use in the café for home use — something that seems to be increasingly common, especially in more trendy or upmarket spots. Wow, what an amazing gem of a find. The young man that runs this shop is so attentive to detail and thorough in his measurements that his fresh coffee is unmatched for miles around (we tried to find alternatives).
