Beach Club — Restaurant in Grasse

Edited - Visited Again in June 2025 for more drinks which was delicious when I was back in the area. Service was fast and attentive, music was still brilliant, Purple Disco Machine sort of vibe. Updated to 5 stars, would love to DJ here someday too.

Visited here today for a few drinks. Absolutely love the music! Being a House DJ this was very much my vibe. Ordered a few Mojitos and they was very tasty! Location is great and very much a perfect setting to watch the sun go down listening to some house music. I got a very warm welcome, as a foreigner they spoke my language and i engaged in conversation with the waiters with ease and they had a big smile.

To the guy behind the bar and the waiter that served me who spoke to me in English, thankyou very much guys! Had a limoncello and spoke about music.

Bad points - not enough service covering the tables on the beach. I had to get up and ask for a second drink. And another table was sat waiting to order for 15 minutes before they got up and left.

With a few minor adjustments, for example rather than the staff all staying within the bar area, a waiter walking around the tables every 5 mins on the beach this place would get a 5 star review and a lot more business.

Out of season some gas parasol heaters would work very well as it does get a bit cold, a bit of heat would keep customers theres longer.

Ok so mixed reviews on here and I can see why! We come here 6-8 times a year for the last 5 years. The cocktails and general feel is the best we've experienced on the strip. We always say we can feel the stress falling away as soon as we sit down at The Beach Club. Food wise, I would say that it has recently dropped from excellent to just very good, which still is pretty good. I would say that the presentation has slipped a bit. The other night we booked a table for 6 at 19.30. Service was good and if we did have to wait it certainly wasn't noticeable to us. Cocktails excellent (as always) and food was good. However some friends of ours (who have previously enjoyed coming here), booked a table for 7 at 20.00, and didn't get quite the same experience! They had to wait 1 hour 40 mins to get food and had mixed feelings about the quality, mostly regarding the steak. I was at the table when they complained, and were told "Its very busy tonight"! They were offered limoncello later as a way of an apology, but I think by then it was too late. To my mind there are a lot more tables than there used to be and I think the kitchen starts to struggle when they reach capacity. There is construction work still being done, so hopefully this is being fixed. If you are coming here, and I recommend you do, then com early and try and avoid large tables. Great beach that me and my family visit often, and always take friends there when they're visiting. Always have been good (the beach, food, drinks, service ) but today for lunch I was a bit disappointed. My friend and me took the chairs for the day, ordered wine and I ordered the Ceasar salad. Ate majority of it when I finally noticed that the chicken was raw (had my sunglasses on so didnt see the colour prior ). Told the waiter when he finally showed up. He said just sorry. 2 chairs next to us had uncooked pizza that they ate just the cooked parts. When leaving and paying, waiter did not offer any hospitality(nothing done with the bill or offer something). Just quickly took the payment and ran....
