After having wait for my order for 30 minutes I asked a guy who was serving other tables when I would finally get my order. He looked at the order # and said he was going to look for what was going on. After 10 more minutes i finally get inside and find out that my order was lost in translation (and also that the guy had never asked about my specific order # etc). The woman preparing orders was very nice and apologized etc But then I said that I was expecting free ice creams for the hassle. She asked the manager, who was super aggressive. The manager looked at me like she was going to hit me and said "I will only give you one!" in a very aggressive manner. I said ok, and when she came to give it to me she didn't even look at me and proceed like she'd be polite, and excuse them etc but again in an aggressive way. It felts like if she could have thrown it at me she'd have done it. From the beginning I was clear on the fact that I was a little annoyed but that I understood that we all make mistakes at work, it was was one more reason to not to be treated like sh1t by the manager! That's unacceptable for someone who is supposed to show example to her team. Also, while I was finally eating there was an issue at another table, a waitress literally yelled at a little girl because she had not spot that she had started eating the menu she had ordered. The waitress then talked badly to the mother and left. It then escalated inside the restaurant. Again, at no time I've heard of the manager to excuse her team member. Finally, the brother of the waitress came to thr3aten the customer. What a great customer experience! I used to get the best service from all the burger king restaurants after they started reopening restaurants in France, but it hasn't been true for the past year, whether in this restaurant, or even at others (none went that bad though! :)). The workers behind the counter work as fast as they can and appreciate it when a customer isn't rude or yelling at them. The tables aren't always clean and the toilets are the same. But it's cleaner than a lot of other Burger Kings in France.

Mon frĂšre et ses amis se sont rendus dans ce restaurant pour profiter dâune offre en cours : laisser un avis positif en Ă©change dâune glace gratuite. AprĂšs confirmation auprĂšs dâune employĂ©e que lâoffre Ă©tait bien valide, ils ont laissĂ© leurs avis et attendu calmement dans lâĂ©tablissement.
Pendant plus de quinze minutes, ils ont tentĂ© Ă plusieurs reprises, de maniĂšre polie et respectueuse, dâattirer lâattention du personnel pour rĂ©cupĂ©rer ce qui leur avait Ă©tĂ© promis. Ils ont Ă©tĂ© totalement ignorĂ©s, comme sâils Ă©taient invisibles.
Lorsquâune responsable a finalement daignĂ© leur adresser la parole, ce ne fut pas pour leur rĂ©pondre, mais pour leur lancer une accusation aussi grave que mensongĂšre : elle les a accusĂ©s dâavoir insultĂ© le personnel. Aucun mot dĂ©placĂ© nâavait pourtant Ă©tĂ© prononcĂ©. Aucun Ă©cart de conduite nâavait eu lieu. Ils Ă©taient simplement lĂ , debout, Ă attendre quâon les considĂšre.
PlutĂŽt que de chercher Ă comprendre ou Ă vĂ©rifier la rĂ©alitĂ© des faits, cette responsable a choisi la voie de la confrontation. Elle est allĂ©e jusquâĂ appeler un autre employĂ© â un homme â pour les expulser physiquement du restaurant, comme sâils reprĂ©sentaient un danger. Expulser des clients sans preuve, sans tĂ©moin, sans dialogue, simplement sur la base dâun prĂ©jugĂ© ou dâun agacement, est dâune violence symbolique rare.
Ce traitement serait-il le mĂȘme si ces jeunes nâavaient pas Ă©tĂ© perçus comme âtrop bruyantsâ, âtrop visiblesâ, ou simplement âpas Ă leur placeâ ? Le doute est permis. Et câest prĂ©cisĂ©ment cela qui rend cette scĂšne aussi rĂ©voltante. Car derriĂšre cette expulsion injustifiĂ©e, il y a un message humiliant : ici, votre prĂ©sence dĂ©range.
Il ne sâagit pas dâun simple malentendu, mais dâun incident rĂ©vĂ©lateur dâun mĂ©pris profond, dâune dĂ©sinvolture dangereuse dans la maniĂšre dont certains clients sont traitĂ©s â en fonction de leur apparence, de leur origine supposĂ©e ou de leur Ăąge.
