Côté Sushi Antibes — Restaurant in Grasse

🚨 alert 🚨 be aware of this place … Staff is not returning items that you forgot while dining in the restaurant.‼️

after a day of shopping me and my daughter we decided to eat here on the way back home. so with few bags we sat and we place the order. The staff was tired and very unfriendly, not happy to be there and you can definitely feel that heavy vibes. There was a Young girl that wasn’t happy with her work for sure. Food wasn’t that great but it was at least with fresh ingredients but the worst is that after we left I realise that I forgot my bag with shopping so I called them and girl that worked on the shift confirm with me that my item is there we described exactly what is that I forgot. So I came next day to collect it and the same girl that worked evening before was telling me that there was never any bag that she dose not know who I spoke to (yet I spoke to her ) and there is no any shopping left and that no one called day before ( photo attached with 2 min call) So I asked for manger and She told me he is not here yet few minutes later he came down form upstairs area where he was sleeping during his work after 2 weeks of his holiday. He was saying that he just came back from his time off and he knows nothing so when I told him that maybe there is some issue here and that frankly my shopping is missing and the girl Is manipulating and lying here. He was very rude didn’t offer any help … he was not happy as when I asked him if he speaks English he said no- and off course it put this conversation in different dynamic even though I try to communicate with him in French. I never got my shopping back … shocking It’s just blow my mind that things like that happening and you are just powerless… So all I can say that I wish who ever now is wearing my items that I bought that they fit you and serve you well.

Do not recommend this place … So so...

Not coming back. It was my favorite sushi spot in town. Being going from early February until yesterday...we waited 48 minutes to get our order, watched people arrive, being served and leave, After, the sushi order was wrong, I didn't even thought of taking the Pic of the roll that arrived the 1st time but was not even crispy or breaded...(I 80% of the time order the same thing). I told the waitress it might be a mistake and she reacted bad, angry and changed for something was also wrong and...empty roll (picture). She also handed the beer and the opener to my partner and told him to open his own beer because she was busy, not even at the bar!. I'm just deeply sad I will not longer go and make my friends meet me there. Was a great spot.

I understand it could be a rushed bad day, all restaurants have them and mistakes can be done...but the way we were treated was horrible and was no dialogue.

We just paid for the empty, fried roll, left tip and left.

Over 45 minutes for our simple order. Multiple blackouts for the restaurant while waiting, they have a problem with their electrical appliances. After the food was served (we asked for miso soup and Edamame beans to be served first as entreés, but this was disregarded and all was finally served together). Then the kitchen staff proceeded to argue loudly for at least 5 minutes, with absolutely no regard for the atmosphere for the guests. I asked them to go outside and argue - or stop - but they continued to argue at a lower volume. Unprofessional, my children disappointed with the slow service and the unprofessional atmosphere. My daughter of 9 years suggested I post...
