DON'T GO IF YOU'RE ENGLISH/AMERICAN, OR YOUR FRENCH IS NOT GOOD. The French waiter showed contempt for us as native English from the start, did not speak slowly or try to accommodate us for our lack of good french but talked fast at us every time he addressed us. Even ignored us at front of house for some minutes, not even acknowledging our presence. Put us on a lesser table and gave the French couple behind a nicer window seat. He mistook my son's order of boeuf for poisson bourride, and when we questioned it later proceeded to tell us it was our fault - when we had ordered correctly, pointed clearly and was repeated to him in French and English - the two items were not even next to each other on the menu. He also had not repeated the order back for clarity at the time. Did not offer to change the order. My son and i swapped meals and another member of staff came by later and mocked us when clearing plates asking how the "beef" was knowing it wasn't what we got. Starters were the best part. Mains just okay too much salt in the bourride (fish soup) as it turned out. Service was bad - were not welcoming, attention was poor - despite many staff and not even peak season. Combined with the order mixup and unprofessional and discourteous manner. (This was the, older, head waiter and judging by some other reviews here appears to be a bit of a "feature".) We made the best of it as I was out with my son trying to have a nice evening, We're usually pretty humble with our restaurant choices but I had wanted to have a nice meal as my son recently turned 17 and we don't eat out a lot. CANNOT RECOMMEND. Try Chez Jules le don Juan or Le...
Read moreWe ordered 3 dishes. The chicken was good but the seafood pasta and the pasta with aubergine was absolutely not worh 30+ euros. No salt (something that we said from the very beginning) ams after 10 minutes we decided not to finish the plates. We sent back and almost full plate of seafood pasta and aubergine pasta. We complained with the waitress who was vey kind and told us that the pasta would have been taken off the bill. We were very thankful and kept saying that the chicken was actually very good. At the end we got the bill with only one pasta off (the less expensive of course) and after complaining again we were treated like beggers or thieves by a very rude "manager" who didn't even let us talk. I find it diagustint that a person who defines himself a manager does not listen to a customer and treats the customer as a thief. I have been all around the world to Michelin Stars rated restaurants and never been treated like this. We should have trusted the reviews which doubt that the restaurant is in the Michelin Guide because of its worth. Do. Not. Go.

Read moreI tried to come here before and sadly missed the opportunity for food, so I decided to come back a day later to see if I could get the chance to enjoy a meal. There is a limited menu between 2:45pm and 7:00pm and as such not all options are available.
I ordered a Croque Monsieur and a glass of red wine, specifically Verre Bois Jacou. The Croque Monsieur was phenomenal, the cheese was melted to perfection and the Bechémel was on point. The wine was easy to drink and a great addition to my meal.
To add on top of that the service was great. Polite and very easy to order even if your French is lack luster. The atmosphere is beautiful with a nice position on the park. Great covered outside seating with beautiful views.
Overall if you're in Antibes for a few days and want a bite for lunch Nananère is a worthy stop and beats several of the...
