Highly recommend!!
A cute and cozy landing spot for delicious cupcakes or brunch filled with eclectic seating and even a couch if you’re feeling loungie. Choopy’s makes their food and juices with fresh ingredients & gluten free offerings. As a matter of fact, all there scrumptious desserts including their cupcakes and pancakes are gluten free!
My favorite and what I usually order, is the eggs florentine. This is a benedict served on a gluten free pancake. Just delicious with the perfectly cooked egg… every time. If pancakes aren’t your thing they also have bagels, wraps, salads or make-your-own pancake stack so to speak with a multitude of sweet and savory toppings to choose from. To accompany my food I order the nicely spiced chai. Alternative milks are offered.
And of course, the cupcakes and the banana bread are moist and full of flavor, but don’t let me talk you out of one of their cookies 🤤… yes, sometimes I stop by just for a little snack 🫣
I am a repeat offender ☺️ just love the atmosphere and the tasty treats they offer. A big plus besides the menu being fairly priced, is that they have outside seating for the summer. An even bigger plus, the staff, especially the owner, are just the sweetest 💖
Make sure to visit the big map inside if you’re from out of town and pin where you’re visiting from. Lastly, it is a small family owned and operated location so if you think you will want to come during a Saturday brunch always call ahead and try to reserve. They try to arrange as best they can to accommodate if they can. On busy days priority does go to people who are eating and drinks are usually for take-away if at a busy...
Read moreWe came here with very jetlagged, hungry, hot, screamy kids in the middle of a heat wave, hoping to refuel, feel normal again. I ran to the nearby Carrefour when we realized it was going to be a while until the waitress brought out water and took our order, and grabbed a couple bottles of juice. Mainly to hydrate the kids obviously, but also to give the other customers sitting outside some peace :)
The waitress, though, said she couldn't serve us since they offer smoothies, and we hadn't purchased smoothies from them. No compassion for clearly exhausted children or their exhausted parents looking for some quick nourishment before a larger meal. No understanding that this would lead to even more sadness, screaming, anguish. Ugh. It was a nightmare.
It's too bad because this was actually one of my husband's favorite places in Antibes --- partly because it was the only place that had iced coffee and wifi a few years back. (It wasn't my favorite, though---I agree with other reviewers re this place being overrated). So it's not a huge...
Read moreI spotted this place through an archway while waiting for my wife and son to finish shopping around the corner. I have to admit, I was first attracted by the sign that proclaimed, "Free Wi-Fi" as we were only going to be in port for the day and I wanted to take care of some work. When I discovered Choopy's offers beautiful (and subsequently determined very tasty) gluten-free cupcakes and other items, I knew I had hit the jackpot. My wife, daughter and son are all gluten-intolerant and finding tasty gluten-free food while traveling is like hitting the lottery. The young couple who owned Choopy's could not have been any friendlier and the young woman who waited on us (and practiced her english, which was already very good) was sweet and charming. Our lunch was delicious and priced very reasonably. While we visited Cannes, Antibes and Nice that day, my favorite experience was our short time at Choopy's. I highly recommend you seek it out if you find yourself in Antibes. You...
