Amazing ! I was holidaying this summer with my cousin in the quaint town of Antibes, on the French Riviera. One of our main ambitions was to really scope out the best restaurants on the Côte d'Azur as we really wanted to experience french food and dining at it's best. Well we found it ! The restaurant Côté Terre et Mer in Antibes was definitely my favourite ! Located in a charming little street in the Old Town of Antibes, the cosy and inviting ambiance is what first drew our attention. And what an experience! We had one of the most memorable evenings of our trip! The food was EXCELLENT. The menu has a very nice selection, all fresh produce and seasonal dishes to a particularly high standard. The service was very professional yet friendly and the staff made us fantastic recommendations. A delicious selection of desserts, all homemade. What an evening! I can't wait to get back to Antibes ... this will be my first stop. For anyone in Antibes, I highly...
Read moreWe were 4 people. We took 5 tapas each for approximately €15. Of the 5 two were very good (tuna and beef carpaccio) the others were “nothing special”. Bearing in mind the price we took only five, so I was hungry at the beginning and left the restaurant hungry. Well, the waitress advised to take two tapas per person. That would make €30 each and believe me, you’ll be ok only if you have small appetite. As for the drinks a bottle of wine whatever is the colour is €55 (no wine list as per say). Don’t ask me if it was a good wine please. I would say it is the level of the wines you get for €5-6 in the supermarket nearby. Perhaps my rating looks harsh, since the food was overall not so bad and service OK. Nevertheless if you wish to spend more than €50 per person for 2 tapas and half a bottle of basic wine, then go ahead. BTW if you add a desert (I took one but don’t remember it apart that it was small like all the rest) you will add between...
Read moreDo not come here unless your idea of a good dinner includes rude comments from waiters, mediocre food, and sweltering heat. We had a booking and were told to only arrive at the exact time, which we did, only to be told we need to wait another 30 minutes because there’s no table for us and he’s not a “magician”. Basically no respect for our time and no use for a booking. The food selection was very limited, but even these few dishes lacked in flavor and quality, especially compared to the price. The main server was rude from the start, telling us we have “dumb questions”whenever we inquired about anything, making sarcastic unnecessary remarks. The steaks were mixed up, the fish wasn’t great. On top of that really hot environment we were sweating buckets the whole time because it was indoors with no proper ventilation. So I...
