Le Chrono offers exceptional quality, generous portions, and incredible value for money. During our 10-day trip from Nice to St. Raphaël, we tried several restaurants but were repeatedly disappointed by overpriced, low-quality food—especially poor meat cuts at premium prices—and chaotic service.
Le Chrono was a breath of fresh air. The service was warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The meal we had here was, without a doubt, the best of our entire trip. The salmon in my dish was perfectly cooked, with outstanding flavor and texture, while my wife’s pizza had a beautifully crispy crust, enhanced by rich notes of olive oil. These guys truly know how to make stone oven pizza as authentic as it should be! The wine I ordered by the glass was fresh and of excellent quality.
What truly sets Le Chrono apart is their attention to detail, their willingness to accommodate preferences, and the inviting atmosphere they create. If you’re in the area and looking for a restaurant that delivers both quality and hospitality, this is the place to go. Highly...
Read moreWe had 2 starters, pizza and main and 2 desserts. For starter the tuna tartare was something what my cat would refuse to eat, it was not fresh and didn't taste well at all. Baked aubergine was eatable but with quality from ready meals from supermarket. Meat for second was ok. Pizza came burnt and when I said it to waiter she just shrugged her shoulders and say what do you want and refused to take it back. We asked for manager and he took it back but with face showing off his opinion and without saying ok, or sorry or anything. The second pizza was not baked at all... You can't get it right. The attitude of one waiter was not acceptable in any ways, she was speaking to us about us in french and what she was saying were not compliments. The second waiter was very young and nice lady with very appropriate attitude. This is why I gave 2 stars for service as it would not be fair on her to give 0. I would say avoid - there is more...
Read moreService was ok, the waiters are very nice but due to the restaurant being busy, they were left running around, so ordering took a little while. Food came hot and fresh however. Good value for money.
We ordered the penne tomate, linguini royal, pizza chrono and sorento. The penne were lacking in some flavour and seasoning. The linguini was average, seafood was good but the pasta was basic, needed some spice. The pizzas were very good, traditional Italian oven pizza. Thin crust with stretchy mozzarella and tasty toppings.
We also ordered two desserts. The creme brulee was good. The sugar on-top was super hot and the creme cool. The banana split, although not a traditional dessert, was very good as well.
Location is good, in the old town of Antibes. We sat inside and we were near an air conditioning unit so it was not very hot. Overall, it was a good experience, but the pasta left a little...
