Came here specifically to eat based on the positive reviews. Owner was extremely rude. He told us we could sit anywhere on the patio then when he came back out he told us that the one table we were sitting at was reserved so we had to move (there was no reservation sign on the table). He did not bring us menus for about 10 minutes - I went to collect them myself. When he finally came to the table he quickly told us the menu du jour then said that ordering anything else would be a very long wait and eating there wasn’t worth our time. Je suis allé dans ce restaurant pour la fête des mères, me fiant aux avis positifs et pensant tomber sur un petit restaurant familial avec une cuisine maison. Bien mal m'en a pris. Deux plats du jour étaient proposés, tous deux à 25€. Le premier, "assiette du pêcheur" : trois minuscules filets de poissons surgelés (ceux que l'on trouve en sachets d'1kg dans les grandes surfaces), une crevette, un peu de ratatouille en boite, une timbale de riz blanc et un rösti (qui nous avait été présenté comme une "galette de pomme de terre"), surgelé lui aussi. Même pour moitié prix j'aurais trouvé ça excessif. Alors pour 25€, c'est carrément du vol. Deuxième plat, "souris d'agneau" : une souris d'agneau qui n'avait visiblement été que (trop) réchauffée sur place (probablement achetée déjà préparée chez Metro) accompagnée de flageolets en boite et d'un autre rösti surgelé. Ce morceau d'habitude si tendre et fondant était tout simplement infect. La viande était tellement coriace que je n'ai pas terminé mon plat. Nous n'avions (heureusement !) pas commandé d'entrées ni de desserts, seulement des apéritifs (une Kro en bouteille, deux kirs) et un petit pichet de rosé. L'addition pour trois personnes frôlait les 100€. Tout cela pour un repas de fête des mères raté. Aucun de nous n'a terminé son assiette, et pas parce que c'était trop copieux, loin de là. Le serveur a eu le culot de nous dire en amenant les plats à table "Bonne dégustation", comme si nous étions dans un restaurant gastronomique. Tout simplement honteux. Ne tombez pas...

A truly hidden gem that I highly recommend! This was hands down the best French meal I’ve had during my entire trip in the South of France. I had tried several highly-rated restaurants in Nice and Antibes (based on social media and Google Maps), but most of them turned out to be either overpriced or just average in taste. But this place genuinely blew me away — the flavors were amazing, and the prices were surprisingly affordable.

I ordered the escargot and frog legs, and both were absolutely delicious — especially the frog legs! I ended up finishing every last bite. The bread they served was so good that I asked for more, just to soak up all the butter and veggies at the bottom of the dish. Everything was so well-prepared and flavorful — I wholeheartedly recommend it all!

What made the experience even more special was the warm and genuine hospitality of the owner. He was truly kind, and the friendly dog in the restaurant added an extra touch of charm.

That day left me feeling really happy. One of the other reviewers said they didn’t want to leave after visiting — and I completely understand now. This cozy little restaurant has a truly heartwarming vibe. Don’t miss...
