We just stopped in to share a pizza. We ordered one with chorizo. Was good. Nothing outstanding but good. The server was everywhere. Nice, but I just could tell he was a bit overwhelmed. I did 4 stars because we just asked for water, and he brought us out a $7.5 bottle of water ( I did not know until we received the bill. Everywhere else on the beach, it was 4 or 4.5). The locals he just gave a carafe of water for free or less. So, it basically took advantage of us. But it happens. That being said... this is a local place. All we heard was French, and none of the servers or staff that we met understood English and menus only in French. I'm not complaining. I'm just letting you know so you are prepared. A lot of people were ordering fish and fries, so it might be a good choice if you decide to go. Still recommend if you're close and want some good food by the beach.

I loved the food here but sadly the service lets the place down a bit. It's not an expensive place to eat so I don't expect to have Ritz style service but we were kept waiting a looooong time to get a menu, to then order, to get drinks, to get a second drink, we didn't even get asked about dessert which we had planned to have. Luckily the food was great, the location is lovely particularly at sunset. The waiting staff were lovely, just not particularly attentive. I'm normally a pretty generous tipper but on this occasion it just didn't feel justified to leave one for a lacking service. I'd go back but when I'm in a particularly relaxed mood and not in a rush, the St Germain spritz is amazing and now a firm favourite of mine

We recently had a meal at Le Café de la Plage in Antibes, and the pizza was good. The restaurant is in a beautiful location, right by the sea in Juan-les-Pins, which makes for a relaxing and scenic dining experience. As primary English speakers, we encountered a bit of a language barrier with our server, which caused her to avoid our table a little more than usual. This wasn’t her fault at all—it’s just part of traveling to a country where we didn’t speak the language. Despite that, the overall experience was pretty good, and the pizza was good. If you’re looking for great food, an unbeatable atmosphere, and a relaxed vibe by the sea, we do recommend Le Café de la Plage!

It is one of the worst staff attitude that can ever be encountered. I was allmost cursed because the extra I had asked for my pizza was not added and I kept asking for it. .There was no apology at all. When I looked up and found the poor customer feedback on tripadvisor, Rudolph who apparently is the chief of staff, he was careless and said I could do anything I want and he actually was the one cursing behind. The cafe is in a convenient location, they are not short of customer...But this is a very rude, roothless attitude in the midst of France.. I arrived for an early dinner..More than half of the restourant was yet empty and they asked me to sit in a very cloustrophobic place for one person..I said there are other tables for one or two...I would like to sit on one of them..The guy who was again Rudolp indicated that if I don' t sit in one of the cloustrophobic tables no one else will sit.(!!) .. I had arrived so early..there are tables and I am.asked to sit in the worst squeezed table available. The restaurant is run like under a gendarmarie with an exagerated planning but not much respect to customer and no training in attitude. . I wish that this place is run by a chief of staff who will reflect the spirit of the beautiful southern France to the customers and the rest...

Was excited to sit by the water and enjoy a glass of wine and dinner at this beautiful spot. Unfortunately all I did was sit and eventually left after waiting around for service to no avail. When I walked in, I asked the host for a table for one and he waved around and went to speak with a table of guests. I wasn’t sure if he was telling me to sit wherever so I waited for him to walk back towards me and asked if I should just sit anywhere and he brusquely waved again so I sat down at an empty table. Waited about 10-15 minutes and flagged a waiter down to get a menu as I didn’t have one and the table was not set. Waited another 15 minutes or so for anyone to take a drink or food order and no one ever came over to serve me. So after sitting there for about 30 minutes with no service, I got up and left. As I was leaving, I passed the host and told him no one ever came over to serve me so I was leaving. I could hear him yelling at the wait staff as I walked up the street. The restaurant was maybe a quarter full around 6 pm so it wasn’t overly busy to explain the lack of service. Too bad. Menu looks great and location is beautiful. Would have enjoyed...

Clearly a tourist trap. We came there, and while looking at the menu, first thing you see is so many different dishes with a mention "home-made", which, as you know, unless you have an army working in the kitchen, is almost impossible, but so be it. We tried the mussels and fried squids. Mussels were without any special taste, the squids were clearly frozen and bought from some retailers, as they were perfectly shaped, with their soggy oily skin and their bland taste. Fries were okay as a side dish, definitely star of the evening. When asked, the waiter said he wasn't aware and went to ask to the kitchen, who came few minutes later mentioning it's a new thing and are trying these past days frozen, but forgot to mention it on the card.

I didn't rate it 1 star because this waiter was nice (compared to the other young one that seems he would be better off playing fortnite at home rather than working)

Anyway, highly not...
