I don’t usually leave reviews, but this was poor — and at these prices, it really shouldn’t be.
I came in expecting a solid steakhouse experience. What I got was a string of letdowns. • I asked for a beer and was brought a €12 Tuborg — I’m in France. Tuborg screams “we’ve run out of Heineken” and…. I’m in France. • Tortilla chips and salsa arrived instead of bread at a French steakhouse? I still don’t understand that one. The tortilla chips were soft and I didn’t understand why they were there. • My starter (cromesquis de jarret de veau) came dry, without the sauce that should have been there. I asked and they brought a jus, which helped — but why was it missing in the first place? • Bread arrived after the starter, when there was nothing to mop up — the plate was dry, and so was everything on it. Including the steak. • The steak — a €40 Argentinian sirloin — was a real disappointment. Medium-rare, yes, but dry, pale, and lacking any flavour or character. It looked and tasted anemic, not like quality Argentinian beef. Cutting into it I noticed there was not a drop of juice on the plate, bone dry. Again what was the bread for. If this steak came from Argentina it clearly travelled cattle class. • The fries were soggy and overcooked. Not crisp. Not good.
The only positive was a decent glass of Saint-Émilion, and the staff, who were friendly and tried their best. But the food? Poorly executed, overpriced, and forgettable.

Final verdict:
This wasn’t a near miss — it just wasn’t good. At these prices, you expect much more. I left disappointed, and still hungry for...
Read moreWe went on this restaurant this week, sat outside and a waiter took our order. The tables that came after us got their food before we got ours. But we were thinking maybe because we orderd wagyu and gratin potato’s. But after 45 minutes we received our food. By then we were really hungry. We started to eat an soon realized that ALL of our food was cold. The steaks, the wagyu, my gratin potato’s and all fries and sauces… I soon as i realized that the food was cold told a waiter. He was not polite and just looked at us like we were stupid. The steaks were max 40 degrees. He said something like “what do you want? for me to take them on the grill agian” - we told him no because we orderd all steaks medium and they came medium+, if he would take it on the grill they would be well done. With this food we had 4 sodas and 1 drink. 3 out of 4 dinners there were 50% left in the plate - do to the food bering really cold. We wanted to pay but non of the waiters gave us attention or asked more about the food. We went in to pay and the same waiter that we told it was cold took our payment. He took off the sodas and 1 drink (said it was about 30€). But the sodas and drinks were all fine, it was the food that was the problem. We paid 193€ for the cold food and bad service we got. We will not return to this resultants do to its service and rude...
Read moreWe came to this place expecting a top-notch beef experience, especially since beef is right there in the restaurant's name. Unfortunately, our visit was pretty disappointing.
If you're thinking about stopping by in the late afternoon, I’d advise against it. The staff seemed much more focused on setting up for dinner service, ironing tablecloths, arranging tables than actually serving the few customers who came in for a late lunch or early dinner. We found the service inattentive and rushed, as if we were inconveniencing them by being there.
The biggest letdown was the food. We ordered a well-done burger for our child, but it came out cold and bloody in the middle. We sent it back, and even after a second attempt, it was still raw inside. We ended up microwaving it at home, which says it all.
If the restaurant needs the afternoon to prep for dinner, they should consider just staying closed during that time rather than half-heartedly serving guests and delivering such poor quality...
