Sep 2024:
Birthday party. 5 people. All food was perfectly prepared. The entrecote was tasty and juicy with flavors. Could not resist the ice cream and fruits for dessert. One of the best meals I can remember. Everybody in birthday party agree with me.
Thank you for a meal I will remember for a long time.
2023:
This great Chinese restaurant left me with mixed feelings. Therefore one star for the atmosphere which refers to some of the people eating lunch buffet there.
I saw things I have not seen since the days of Italian Bud Spencer eating contest.
Some people behave like they have not seen food for months. The oysters fresh from kitchen get taken by 3 people. Enough for 10 to 20. Even trivial fruits like ananas and peach get emptied by greedy people.
I am used to live in a world where: one has respect for the host (restaurant). Two. For the fellow citizens around you.
The food is first class. The Chinese humble and very helpful. But they deserve more well behaved customers.
2024:
Visited again the most popular Chinese buffet restaurant in the area. Had a delicious meal with entrecote, starter and dessert. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended for healthy and enjoyable eating. Plan to visit again Sunday when they serve oysters and frog legs.
Discovered that the restaurant has some dishonest guests who leave the restaurant without paying. This could potentially ruin the...
Read moreIf you are a fan of all-you-can-eat Chinese buffet, then this is definitely the right place for you. Firstly the location is quite authentic and clean. In relation to corona, a lot of places don't offer buffets at present but with the mask wearing obligation when you come in or leave your table and bottles of hand sanitizer in every corner, I have to say that I felt safe enough. Now to the food, the choice is superb which includes a sushi-bar, seafood bar and soup which I think make nice starters. Then the mains buffet includes everything from curries, chicken satay, dim-sum, fried-prawns, duck, beef and chicken dishes and one of my favourites the fried frog's legs. To finish their is a large choice of desserts including creme brulee, éclairs filled with ice cream, tarts and cakes and a self service ice cream bar with half a dozen flavours. Overall everything is top notch grub and for €18 it is great value for money. I recommend getting there as soon as they open as it does fill up fast and then they seem to sometimes struggle to keep everything topped up. One last tip, we made the mistake of paying €5 for a bottle of evian, but later realised they provide chilled bottles of table water for free. But if you are in Cannes and want a bit of a bargain, venture out and...
Read moreI think probably the best in the whole region, by a long shot. Though I moved away from France quite a number of years ago, I always come back here. I remember when it opened, must be going on for 10 years ago. It's big and a brisk turnover, and has a lot of 'premium item's', lots of shellfish and sushi etc. The menu has always been the same. For me, I'd rather have a chilli chicken or a curry, not frogs legs but it is aimed at the French and not the likes of me, who wants sweet and sour chicken Hong style, curry and chips!! The staff are very friendly and it's great for the kids. It's a better deal weekday lunchtime, I'm uploading the menu, though there is no food. Please note that a pichet of wine (very acceptable) is the same price as coke and cheaper than draught beer, so please have tap water and wine! Can't really fault it though for choice, quality and value. Sweets and starters also great, plenty of salad as well if you feel guilty about pigging out at a buffet. I lived 'down the road' in Cannes for 10 years, so I've tried them all, and this...
