We arrived with high hopes and no reservation and the host managed to get us a table for one hour. Usually we would hesitate because we love to enjoy the food and the ambiance, but this quickly became one of the most enjoyable hours I have spent in any restaurant anywhere.
Momento is a family owned restaurant with its roots firmly in Sicily.
Their olive oil is gorgeous - I mean, gorgeous. It comes from the family farm in Sicily.
Our bottle of white wine also came from the family vineyard and was Sicilian summer in a glass.
I don’t know how to describe the carpaccio starter except to say it moved me. Thinly sliced swordfish, beautifully marinaded in citrus and served with pink peppercorns. It’s gone straight into my top ten.
We both had ravioli - grouper, perfect pasta, delicious shrimp and tomato sauce topped with crushed pistachio. It’s as good as it sounds and if you don’t believe me, well, you’re wrong.
Cannolo for dessert? Say no more.
The service is detailed and friendly.
This has been the highlight of the week.
Book. Don’t gamble that a table will...

We stumbled upon Momento da Salvo and it turned out to be the highlight of our trip. From the very first step, the place just radiates joy. It’s cozy, full of heart, and bursting with that feel-good “happy place” energy.
The owner, Salvo, is an absolute gem – warm, welcoming, and truly passionate about what he does. You can feel the love in every little detail: the food is out-of-this-world delicious, the atmosphere is full of good vibes, and the staff - all smiles, all heart❤️
Smiles on the faces, love on the plates, happiness in the wine glasses. And then—limoncello! Because of course☀️
If you’re anywhere near the area, don’t even think twice. Just go. This place is a whole experience – 10/10, highly recommend, would teleport back in...
Read moreThis is the most disappointing meal I had in Antibes! I booked a 7 PM reservation based on the high ratings on Google. When we arrived, there was only one other table occupied, but the owner refused to let us sit outdoors or by the window. Instead, they 'suggested' that we sit inside where it was poorly ventilated, just because we had a child with us. When we asked if there was a baby high chair available, the owner said our 2.5-year-old was 'too big' for it, even though he's just 15 kg, 93 cm tall, and developmentally average for his age. The server was very unfriendly, and despite there being only two tables of customers, the owner did not provide the detailed menu explanations or recommendations that were mentioned in the Google reviews. The food portions were delicate, and while the taste wasn't extraordinary, it...
