The place is nice, the location is great and initially we were greated in a friendly manner, the waiter realised we did not speak french spoke english and gave us english menus. Unfortunately the food left us disappointed; the starter was in theory good but was clearly from the fridge, overly cold and octopus chewy. However we remained optimistic, the mains disappointed again; Fish over cooked and the Jambalaya only tasting of chorizo with no complexity of flavour. Despite this we still enjoyed the vibe, but the service became chaotic (now only in incoherant french) when we recieved the bill the card machine was left on our table to manage our own payment; self service!
In response to your comment: what a classy answer! How does the fact that I am from Milan affects my review? How do you even know I am from Milan? Haven’t told you, haven’t even spoke with you. That’s Creepy. I haven’t said anything at the resturant because there was nothing else to do, my fish was overcooked and my only other options was a burger. If I wanted a burger I would have made it home myself. You offer a service that I paid for, is in my right to leave a review. If you cannot handle it in a professional way it is not my problem. You should definitely learn to receive negative feedback in a better way, as I’m sure is not the last one...
Read moreThe staff running this place still has a long way to go to understand what customer service is about. Serving water without bringing any glasses, mixing tables and bringing cutlery for two instead of three are just few examples of what we experienced that night we decided to try out “Goood”. We ordered recommended wine for our main course but it was served before even the starters arrived so by the time we got our main it was already warm. This faux pas didn’t seem to bother the waiter at all! The food was good indeed, reminding of home cooked dinner rather than fancy eating but we knew that already so that wasn’t the issue at all. The seafood and salmon tartare were slightly under spiced for our taste though the tuna was delicious. Fish was really fresh and tasty but some lamb pieces were a little chewy so I can’t give more than 4 stars for food. You can’t really enjoy sitting outside due to traffic passing right outside of the restaurant so only 3 stars for...
Read morePeople running this location are a girl laughing all the time and filling you with a good vibe and a man, which is the MasterChef of all little wonders that you can eat here. My wife had the best rib eye steak with herbs provençale since we eat and live in France. And also a wonderful lava cake cooked - she said - "like you do at home for me". Au contraire, my burger was comsi-comsa, and the desert was a weird combination of a dem-ibaguette submerged in run with a good vanilla cream, however, and whipped cream from the spray. De gustibus non est disputandum tell us a wise man in latin language, but I couldn't give 5 stars for the food. Overall, the experience was amazing, and I highly recommend eating here as it's one of the best foods from Antibes. You may or you may not like it, but it's coming from a Chef...
