The restaurant "La Rotonde" in Mandelieu-la-Napoule offers a culinary experience of the highest quality that will enchant your senses and take your taste buds to a new level. During my visit, I ate the "Kermesse aux poissons" menu, which was undoubtedly a highlight of my gastronomic travels.

The culinary adventure began with a delicate starter, a sea urchin from the Lérins Islands, accompanied by a velvety chestnut emulsion and perfectly candied lemons that added a refreshing touch.

The following course, an egg parfait with parsnip puree and grated bottarga, was a tribute to the complexity and sophistication of flavours. The smooth texture of the parfait harmonised wonderfully with the delicate sweetness of the parsnips and the salty hint of bottarga.

The saffron broth with spirulina foam offered a subtle flavour of exotic spices and an uplifting lightness that enlivened the palate and delighted the senses.

The lobster ravioli, served in a whisky flambéed carcass jus, was a true revelation. The delicate flavours of the lobster melded perfectly with the rich taste of the jus, which was given a caramelised nuance by the flambé.

The refreshing granité with mimosa provided a welcome break between courses, cleansing the palate with its light yet intense flavours.

The main course, a fish steak on demand with fresh vegetables, was a feast for the senses. The tenderness of the fish was emphasised by the perfect preparation, while the crunchy vegetables provided an ideal accompaniment.

To finish, the crispy goat's cheese dumpling with wakame seaweed spoilt us with a combination of salty and creamy textures that sent the palate on an unforgettable journey.

The homemade millefeuille with mimosa and citrus fruits rounded off the menu with a touch of sweetness and freshness that was the perfect end to an exceptional culinary experience.

Overall, the "Kermesse aux poissons" menu at "La Rotonde" restaurant was a true masterpiece of culinary art that impressed me with its creativity, sophistication and perfection. A mile or so West of our Pullman Cannes Mandelieu hotel, this restaurant is at the outer edge of the string of water front hotels and restaurants. You can actually see the Med but there are busy train tracks between. The restaurant is nicely appointed but has a relaxed feel and the two hosts make a point of being friendly and ensuring satisfaction with h the food. We had 3 of the more expensive fixed price menu and one from the lesser one plus a bottle of decent red wine and a glass of white. My wife's veal was a little over cooked but all other dishes were well presented and totally consumed. Total cost $185. The host helped us with transportation as Uber was unavailable and taxis coming from Cannes were super expensive. Overall, a good experience and...

Je suis ravi de vous donner mon avis sur ce restaurant extraordinaire qui utilise de trĂšs bons produits pour offrir une expĂ©rience culinaire exceptionnelle. Nous sommes venus y dĂźner en prenant le menu champignons en 5 plats Ă  l'automne dernier. Avec mon compagnon nous avons craquĂ© sur la description du menu pour son tout petit prix (il me semble que c'Ă©tait 49€) et nos espoirs ont Ă©tĂ© largement dĂ©passĂ©s ! Le service attentif et la recherche dans la cuisine sont incomparables, pour un prix trĂšs correct ce qui en fait l'un des meilleurs restaurants que j'ai jamais visitĂ©s sur Cannes et alentours. La dĂ©coration de la salle est absolument magnifique et crĂ©e une ambiance chaleureuse et accueillante dĂšs votre arrivĂ©e. Les tables sont joliment dressĂ©es et les chaises sont trĂšs confortables, ce qui rend l'expĂ©rience encore plus agrĂ©able. La nourriture est tout simplement divine, et il est Ă©vident que les chefs utilisent des ingrĂ©dients frais et locaux pour crĂ©er des plats d'une trĂšs grande qualitĂ©. Le patron Guillaume m’a expliquĂ© aller tous les jours au marchĂ© Forville pour Ă©laborer la formule dĂ©jeuner, Ă©volutive en fonction du marchĂ© et des produits locaux et de saison. Par exemple, poissons sauvages de la pĂȘche locale 🐟 🐟beignets de fleurs de courgettes Ă  la ricotta, filet de canette aux Reine-Claude, figues fraĂźches du pays Ă  la cannelle et au mascarpone 😋 Les desserts sont bien sĂ»r « fait maison » et autant vous dire que je me rĂ©gale Ă  chaque fois 😋 ! C’est un restaurant Ă  l’ambiance trĂšs classe, avec un accueil sympa et surtout un service impeccable. La carte est rĂ©duite, gage de fraĂźcheur. EntrĂ©es allant de 13€ Ă  17€, plats Ă  partir de 25€, desserts succulents 13€ Ă  15€. A noter Ă©galement le plat du jour le midi Ă  19€. Nous avons choisi la suggestion du chef en plat, vraiment excellente : "L'escalope de veau panĂ©e caramel soja au choux braisĂ©" a Ă©moustillĂ© nos papilles ... Une association parfaite.
