The Boucanier offers a high quality of food and even higher quality of service. My wife and I have a very pleasant dinner overlooking the sea with nice views of the Chateau at le Napoule. I had the filet of beef which was cooked perfectly and very tender. My wife had the Guinea fowl which she enjoyed. I was impressed that I was offered to substitute a different side from the mixed vegetables which is not a common practice is most French restaurants. The establishment is nicely decorated. The service is very professional without being intrusive—-particularly by the manger of the restaurant— who was helpful in describing the dishes. Unlike many restaurants in France today, le Boucanier is well staffed so one gets exceptional service. The only downside I felt was the lack of offering carafes of wine which most restaurants do. While their wine list is extensive, it is a bit pricey for what is offered. They do offer glasses of wine. Overall, let Boucanier offers a high quality of food and service. While not inexpensive, it is fairly priced. I look forward to returning. They also have a prix fixed full meal for 43 euros which we did not order but seemed to be...

This is a lovely restaurant and the type of experience I was looking for in the South of France.

As you sit down, look across to a sea of docked boats. The restaurant felt like a high end beach shack with woods, blue colours and warm lighting. Very clean and inviting.

Excellent customer service. The staff were welcoming and made me feel comfortable. When ordering food and drink they had great suggestions and I always enjoy hearing staff say their own favourites. The wine they recommended with the meal was spot on.

The food was exceptional! I had Foie Gras for my starter. As a main course I would definitely recommend the salmon fillet or the octopus risotto. If your looking for an experience go with the salmon as there is a play with textures between the soft fish, granola crunch and praline. The flavours were layered, with each element creating a new note and when played together, a perfect harmony. Great for those sweet tooths as the puddings were incredible. The pudding winner had to be the Coffee and sweet treats. I also enjoyed the lemon meringue finger, a favourite for citrus fans.

Great place to take someone special. Would...

Came here for some Tapas and drinks after a long day of hiking! I was planning on having an early dinner / late lunch, but they didn't serve food here at 4 PM, just tapas. The environment is nice, you're sitting on some comfortable lounge couches overlooking the sandy beach. The staff was friendly and attentive. We ordered the cured meat tapas platter and the fried food tapas (I don't recall the names). The fried food tapas was not clear it was ALL fried food, but it was mostly vegetables so it balanced itself. If you're looking for a nice snack place over looking the water, I would suggest Restaurant Le Boucanier.
