STAY AWAY! and read rest of the opinion I must confess, dining at this Italian restaurant was my worst restaurant experience in the past decade. Persuaded by friends eager for Italian cuisine, we ventured here, which turned out to be a monumental mistake. Let’s dive into the litany of disappointments:
Overcooked Pasta: The pasta was an overcooked, mushy mess, entirely lacking the al dente texture one expects from authentic Italian cuisine.
Disastrous Bolognese Sauce: The Bolognese sauce was nothing short of disastrous. It tasted worse than the cheapest canned variety available at a supermarket. Bland, uninspired, and utterly disappointing.
Inedible Spicy Sauce: The spicy pasta sauce was a culinary nightmare. It was so poorly balanced and overwhelmingly hot that it was simply inedible.
Appalling Pizza: Despite its seemingly appetizing appearance, the pizza was atrocious. The cheese, which bore no resemblance to mozzarella, was hard, greasy, and completely unpalatable. Each bite was a struggle.
Flavorless Risotto: The risotto was yet another disaster. It was overcooked to the point of being a sticky, gloopy mass, and it lacked any discernible flavor. A truly sad rendition of what should be a creamy, flavorful dish.
I was astonished at the sheer lack of quality in the food. Serving such dreadful dishes to paying customers is beyond unacceptable. The experience was so bad that I felt like crying when the hefty bill arrived, knowing I had to pay for this disaster.
Wine Service: The red wine was served at room temperature, which was absurd given that it was 30 degrees Celsius outside. I requested a wine cooler, but it was utterly ineffective—no ice, and barely cool enough to make a difference. It felt like a cruel joke.
In summary, I strongly advise everyone to avoid this place, especially if you value good food. STAY AWAY! This restaurant is a travesty of Italian cuisine and an insult to diners everywhere.
P.S. The response from the restaurant seems like a copy-paste from previous ones, which is quite disappointing. I must admit, unfortunately, that three out of five of us ended up spending the evening in the...
Read moreWe were seated after standing there roughly 3 minutes, there was a couple that was seated after some time next to us, we ordered, no problem there, the servers were nice and helped us with understanding the ingredients of the pizzas, i started to lose patience when that couple that was seated next to us got their pizzas before us, and they ordered 5 minutes after us, anyways, our pizzas came delayed to one another, i'm not saying by seconds or an acceptable time, along the way of 10 minutes. The pizzas were almost undercooked, and it came with a big lump of uncooked flour on top (i was forced to leave that piece with the flour because it was unedible). not sure if it's the dough to blame or the cooks themselves, maybe a combination of the two, by being italian myself i can say that this was not pizza, the cheese on top i'm sure it wasn't even mozzarella. A recommendation to the managers, change your dough (or pizza makers) and manage your reservations and...
Read moreIts a nice place with excellent pizza and pasta flavor and great portions. Unfo our waitress was rude and upset cause another waiter sat us on a table of 4 inside instead of 2 even if her boss was asked by the other waiter. As due to covid19 regs they had to do same to other customers but she just wanted to be unpleasant to us. The only time she bothered was to finally take the order and get the wine. After that never asked or took any time for our table. Anyway there are few great waiters in there but she was a negative experience. Therefore a 3 star as we weren't her problem if the stuff can't communicate with their boss.
Never use the parmesan in open bowl unless its in a jar that you can sprinkle it over your pasta in this or any place!!! Next table a girl was using her fingers to eat from the parmesan little bowl plate. There are people feeding their kids with the spoon from these and...
