Au M.f — Restaurant in Grenoble

This place is a little gem. We (re)discovered it. The owner told us they used to run the “old” Moule Frites across the street. With two toddlers, they now only one this one. She is super nice, super friendly, with a real sense of service; something that is definitely not common in French restaurants. The food is excellent, their homemade soupe de poisson was delicious, flavorful with a little spicy kick. The (demi) magret de canard perfectly cooked (rosé on the reddish side which I love). And the desert perfect. My wife had to leave for an appointment, so the owner gave her a coffee to go. We’ll be back!...

Highly recommended restaurant close to the city center of Grenoble.

If you are fed up with the usual food and you would like to have something a bit beyond this is the place to be.

Très beau restaurant, le service était un peu long. On a commandé des moules frites, elles étaient délicieuses et une pièce de boeuf qui nous a pas du tout enchanté. Ils n'avaient plus de pièce de boeuf et ils nous on proposé de la bavette, la cuisson n'était pas au top, nous avons demandé bien cuit et elle était grillée et encore saignante. Et surtout que la bavette était toute petite et on a payé le même prix qu'une pièce de boeuf ! En dessert on a pris de la glace, qui nous a été servis dans un ramequin sans rien, c'est à dire aucune mise en valeur du dessert et pareil pour la tarte poire chocolat. Ça nous a pas donné envie !
